Good day all, here’s a news story the Progressive Liberal gun grabbers will not acknowledge. A woman calls police reporting someone is trying to break in and the police dispatcher ask her if she can ask her assailant to just go away.
The story takes place in Josephine County, Oregon. The woman, who is not named, called 911 to report that her ex-boyfriend was trying to break into the house. Here are the details from CBS Seattle:
An Oregon woman was told by a 911 dispatcher that authorities wouldn’t be able be able to help her as her ex-boyfriend broke into her place because of budget cuts.
Oregon Public Radio reports that an unidentified woman called 911 during a weekend in August 2012 while Michael Bellah was breaking into her place. Her call was forwarded to Oregon State Police because of lay-offs at the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office only allows the department to be open Monday through Friday.
“Uh, I don’t have anybody to send out there,” the 911 dispatcher told the woman. “You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away? Do you know if he’s intoxicated or anything?
Ok, this dispatcher is an utter moron. Does anyone want to explain to me why they kept her and got rid of a deputy who might have been in the area? Second, was the dispatcher sampling some evidence from a recent drug bust? And it gets better. (Or worse as the case may be)
“Once again it’s unfortunate you guys don’t have any law enforcement out there,” the dispatcher said, according to Oregon Public Radio.
The woman responded: “Yeah, it doesn’t matter, if he gets in the house I’m done.”
This dirt bag was able to break in and he beat and raped her. One major problem is the victims ability to defend herself. Apparently, although the story doesn’t say, she was unarmed. I also have the feeling that she was in full sheep mode and never actually considered doing anything to protect herself such as going for a kitchen knife.
The moron dispatcher, rather then bitching about budget cuts could have offered the victim some advice, such as getting some sort of weapon, fleeing the building and hiding somewhere, anything. Instead, it looks like she took another drag from her crack pipe instead. I’m sad to say, that it doesn’t look like she was the only one snorting down the contents of the evidence locker.
The sheriff’s department even put out a press release warning domestic violence victims to “consider relocating to an area with adequate law enforcement services.”
Hey! How about recommending to these people that they get a gun, learn to use it and tell them if they blow away these animals, they will get a pat on the back and a new toaster oven? No, this is Oregon, one of the main breeding ground for “Liberalis Dementiis” more commonly known as the Moonbat.
While there are areas where scum like Michael Bellah would have been shot, most of the state is populated by tree hugging, bong drum banging tranzi’s. Both having the means and the will to defend yourself from criminals is considered worse then getting robbed, raped or murdered. So why did the local law do all these cutbacks?
The sheriff’s department had to cut 23 deputies and the entire major crimes unit after it lost a multi-million dollar federal subsidy, according to Oregon Public Radio. There are now only six deputies left.
And this is what happens when you rely on the Federal Government to give you money. Eventually, it stops coming. And what about the criminal?
Bellah pleaded guilty to kidnapping, sex abuse and assault.
Pity they had to put him on trial. It wold have been better if his victim chose not to be a victim and plugged this bastard….multiple times. As the saying goes, when seconds count police are minutes, hours, days away, and might not bother to show up at all.
