If you read my recent post on the political repression of conservative and Tea party groups, then you are probably thinking we should look at getting a Special Prosecutor who can look into this and see who needs to go to jail.
As you might expect, the Progressive Liberal Democrats don’t even think there’s a problem. It was just a few “Rogue agents” in one office that did this. The majority of the Obama Steno Pool is also parroting this nonsense. However, you wouldn’t think the Republicans were also saying we don’t need a Special Prosecutor.
You would be correct in you thinking with one big exception. That would be Senator John McCain, the senior RINO and all around Obama apologist. He doesn’t think we need a Special Prosecutor right now. Here are the details from Today:
Sen. John McCain suggested Monday that a special investigator may be needed to sort through the series of scandals currently plaguing the IRS to see if laws were violated. But he also said the public should first wait to see what comes out of government oversight hearings.
Wish, wash, wish, wash.
“I think we ought to wait and see how events unfold,” the Arizona Republican said on TODAY. “Certainly when you look at the people that were targeted, it might be something different than accidental. I think we ought to have hearings, and I think that there may be an argument for a special counsel here, but let’s wait and see.”
Accidental? This senile old fool thinks this is all an accident? I wonder if he thinks the Bombing of Dresden or the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were accidents?
The IRS also is under investigation for acknowledging it specifically targeted politically conservative organizations for audits. The agency also will be the subject of a report to be released this week by an inspector general at the Treasury Department.
“You just wonder: Why do they keep doing this stuff? It hurts their credibility enormously,” McCain said. “Suspicions confirmed about what federal employees do. We all know there are many, many, hundreds of thousands of dedicated federal employees who work every day for us.”
Obviously this fool has no idea just what the bureaucracy he helped create actually does. Helping the people is not even on their list of priorities. Oh wait! I think he was talking the bureaucrats are working for the Democrats and their RINO pals in Congress and the White House.
John McCain is long past his shelf life. He is utterly out of touch with what is going on in the country and has no interest in getting back IN touch. He should resign from office and go sit on his porch in Arizona. He won’t of course. He plans to retire the same way Robert Byrd and recently and Frank Lautenberg retired. Carried out of the senate feet first.
