Twitter feed down for the count

Good day all, this is the Angry Systems Administrator. You may have noticed that the twitter feed widget on the upper right hand side of the blog is missing. I found out last weekend that the widget in question was being discontinued due to structural changes with the Twitter API.

This is rather annoying. I’ve spent the last few days, off and on, trying to find a replacement widget, to no avail. The few I’ve tried have not worked. Since neither the Angry Webmaster or I really pay all that much attention these days, I’m not going to bother trying to get the feed working. If Twitter doesn’t want us using their api, then we won’t and they can go take a flying leap.

At least this will mean a few less data points for the NSA.
