Have they forgotten Watergate?

The answer is, apparently, yes. In a case that harkens back to the Watergate Burglary, someone broke into a law office that is representing a state department whistleblower.

In an article on Foreignpolicy.com the law firm’s security cameras caught the burglars doing their nefarious deeds.

The offices of a Dallas law firm representing a high-profile State Department whistleblower were broken into last weekend. Burglars stole three computers and broke into the firm’s file cabinets. But silver bars, video equipment and other valuables were left untouched, according to local Fox affiliate KDFW, which aired security camera footage of the suspected burglars entering and leaving the offices around the time of the incident.

The firm Schulman & Mathias represents Aurelia Fedenisn, a former investigator at the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General. In recent weeks, she raised a slew of explosive allegations against the department and its contractors ranging from illicit drug use, soliciting sexual favors from minors and prostitutes and sexual harassment.

I remember Ms. Fedenisn. In fact I wrote about her treatment last month. I guess “Certain Parties” are rather upset with her and want to see what her attorneys are planning.

“It’s a crazy, strange and suspicious situation,” attorney Cary Schulman told The Cable. “It’s clear to me that it was somebody looking for information and not money. My most high-profile case right now is the Aurelia Fedenisn case, and I can’t think of any other case where someone would go to these great lengths to get our information.”

Gee whiz, an inept black bag job. Who do you think might be involved in setting that up?

After assessing the surveillance footage, Schulman said he believed the motivations were likely political, but did not suspect department involvement. “It wasn’t professional enough,” he said. “It is possible that an Obama or Hillary supporter feels that I am unfairly going after them. And the timing of this is right after several weeks of very public media attention so it seems to me most likely that the information sought is related to that case. I don’t know for sure and I want the police to do their work.”

Don’t forget that the Watergate burglars weren’t all that competent either. After all, they got caught by a security guard after they taped a lock open. You may believe that it wasn’t someone in the regime, but considering how they think?

Fedenisn’s case, in particular, has gained attention not just because of the substance of the allegations, but for her insistence that internal investigations into misconduct were “influenced, manipulated or simply called off” by senior State Department officials. The suppression of investigations was noted in an early draft of an Inspector General report she gave to CBS News, but softened in the final version.

Now that a number of scumbags Democrats are starting to push Hillary Clinton for the nomination in 2016, pulling a black bag job to try and shutdown anything negative regarding her tenure as Secretary of State doesn’t surprise me. I wouldn’t put it past some of the old Clinton Cronies from the 90’s being involved in this, if it turns out to be another Whitewater Watergate coverup.

paranoia meter

Hillary Clinton’s tenure as SecState was probably one of the most inept and disastrous since, oh I don’t know, how about Madeleine Albright’s ((Madeleine Korbelová Albright)) reign of incompetence ((Secretary of State Albright))?? I will say that compared to Hillary Clinton, Albright was the height of honesty and competence. At least I to recall any ambassadors being left to die or being allowed to pick up underage hookers. This is going to beg the question if Clinton runs in 2016, “What did Hillary Clinton know and when did she know it?” Right now, anyone who has followed her career knows that people who are a threat to her have “mysterious accidents” or other things that happen to them.

Personally, I don’t think Clinton will run in 2016. If she does, she is going to get hammered by pretty much everyone. Her excuses and flat out lies, especially in regards to the Benghazi debacle may still come back to haunt her.
