Criminal takes toddler hostage and gets brains blown out

Good day all. This story happened a just before the 4^th of July, but I haven’t had time to bring it up. A woman went into Wal-Mart with her two year old daughter when some slimeball literally walked up and pulled her daughter out of the cart and started to walk away.

This is every parents nightmare. A simple trip to the store with the children and a maggot comes along and snatches one. Here are some of the details from Today News:

A mom’s routine grocery trip turned into a harrowing ordeal after one of her girls was taken hostage in a deadly standoff.

While Keating’s back was turned, a complete stranger walked up to Keating’s cart and picked up her 2-year-old daughter, Zoey. He walked away as the girl’s 12-year-old sister watched in shock.

The situation gets worse of course. Luckily, this walking turd didn’t get out of the store.

“Here’s this huge man standing there with my daughter in his arms and he has a knife pointing towards her side,” Keating said on TODAY in a segment that aired Wednesday. “He said really quietly, ‘Hey, little mamma. You see this knife?’”

How nice, threatening to stab a two year old. When I first read this my blood pressure promptly started up.

Keating became hysterical. She began screaming, pleading with the suspect to let her daughter go.

“I did not maintain my composure. I was completely freaked out,” she said. “I wanted to reach out and grab her but he had a knife. There was nothing I could do but stand there and beg for her life.”

Fortunately, other customers were a little bit more composed.

Meanwhile, other shoppers in the store had called 911.

“There’s someone with a knife holding a little girl hostage,” one man told the emergency operator.

“He took this woman’s kid and we need police here immediately,” said another caller.

Now I don’t know if any of the other customers were armed or night. In this situation, making sure that this scumbag doesn’t leave the store and doesn’t hurt the little girl would take priority. Since they had contained him, letting the police deal with the hostage situation was the way to go. Once the police arrived, they began talking to the cokehead. (No I don’t know if he was on drugs, and I don’t care)

Midwest City, Okla., police cleared the store as soon as they arrived. They negotiated for more than 30 minutes with the suspect, Sammie Wallace, who continued to hold a knife to the toddler’s neck. At one point, they gave Wallace a chair and talked with him one-on-one, according to the video.

The priority in a situation like this is to protect the hostage. If you’ve seen hostage negotiations on TV, you will know how it goes. Try to get the goon to give up so you can save the hostage and throw his worthless hide into a nice pond me in the ass prison. One thing even criminals don’t like much is people who hurt kids. While the police officer was talking with the scumbag, he started a countdown. This is usually bad news, since it means something bad is going to happen, and it did. Just not to the little girl.

That’s when police Capt. David Huff walked up to Wallace and shot him point-blank in the head.

And that ended the hostage situation with a happy ending. The little girls was returned to her mother and the now rotting piece of meat that threatened her was waiting for his trip to the morgue.

Today, Keating and her daughters are back home safe and Zoey is none the wiser.

“My hugs are a lot tighter,” said Keating, still amazed by what happened. “When I watch her play, I have never been more thankful.”

At that age, the little girl will not really remember this, although she might be a bit sensitive to loud sounds. I’m sure lots of hugs from Mom and the rest of the family will take care of that. I do recommend they have her ears checked, just to be on the safe side.

Now I heard somewhere that the family of this nutjob was planning to sue for wrongful death or something. I am not able to verify this. If they do, Zoey’s family should sue them right back and sue their lawyers as well. The only tragedy is the police captain who had to terminate with extreme prejudice this worthless pile of fetid dingo droppings. Hopefully he will be fine.
