Rubio’s latest immigration scheme: Blackmail

Marco Rubio, Junior Senator from Florida and former Tea Party heartthrob has been working with the Democrats to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens in the United States.

As the mouthpiece for the “Gang of 8” bunch that has been scheming for years to ram this through, he has utterly destroyed all the goodwill he generated when he defeated the Republican Establishment candidate, Charlie Christ. Rubio has been getting slammed for his 180 degree sellout of the Tea Party and Conservative groups that got him into office.

Recently, the amnesty bill ran into a firestorm of opposition in the House. RINO’s like Crybaby Boehner and Cowardly Cantor are talking about moving it slowly through without the help of the majority Republicans. This threat has been taken seriously and been returned in spades. If Boehner rams this through. The odds are he and his leadership team will be deposed, and probably face primary opposition.

Now Rubio, seeing the problems facing his amnesty plan, is resorting to outright extortion. His latest scheme? If we don’t pass his bill, Obama will simply grant amnesty by fiat. Here are the details from Fox News:

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is warning that if Congress doesn’t pass immigration reform, President Obama may act on his own to legalize the 11 million immigrants already in the country illegally.

Rubio, a potential Republican presidential candidate for 2016 and an author of the sweeping immigration bill that passed the Senate in June but stalled in the House, made the comments Tuesday on “The Morning Show with Preston Scott” on Tallahassee radio station WFLA.

Rubio has no chance of winning either the nomination or the presidency now. He has totally destroyed his credibility. As to Obama once again ruling by fiat, there is a very simple answer to that. It’s called “Impeachment.” Granted, the Democrats in the Senate won’t allow Obama to be impeached, but with the SCoaMF’s well known history of ignoring the law and constitution, this will be another nail in the coffin for the democrats. Of course, this requires actual courage from the Republicans, something long lacking.

He noted that the Obama administration took action a year ago to give legal status to many immigrants brought here illegally as children. He said without congressional action, the president might well be tempted to do the same for everyone else here illegally, too.

“I believe that this president will be tempted, if nothing happens in Congress, he will be tempted to issue an executive order like he did for the DREAM Act kids a year ago where he basically legalizes 11 million people by the sign of a pen,” Rubio said.

And that was illegal. So what did you do about it and his other law breaking? NOTHING!

Rubio said the possibility highlighted the need for congressional action because the alternative would be legalization without benefits like border security and an E-Verify system to require employers to check their workers’ legal status.

Now there is another lie by Rubio the Phony. All the security requirements are “To be examined in the future” which means never. All this will do is further ruin the United States. The Progressive Liberal Democrats are all for this and the RINO’s are to stupid to see what will happen.

Under pressure from advocates for reform, several House Republicans have already indicated qualified support for a path to citizenship for the immigrants already here illegally, something that’s part of the Senate bill but opposed by many conservatives.

Yes, lets reward both Criminals and the Democrat Party. (But I’m repeating myself) All these illegals will do two things. Promptly join the Free Stuff Army and vote Democrat. If the Republicans allow this to happen, they will deserve to be utterly destroyed as a national party. One of the things that will happen, and which is the goal of the Democrats, is to turn conservative states, (Red States) into Liberal Democrat states, (Blue States). Think about what would happen to places like Texas if the Progressive Liberal Elite got control.

Currently, Texas is one of the few states that has a growing economy with business breaking down the doors to move in there. A lot of these companies and businesses are coming from places like California, where the Democrat Government there has wrecked the state outright. The first thing they will do is massively increase taxes, regulations, and strip the constitutional right to keep and bear arms from the people. Within a few short years, Texas will be just like California, Detroit, New York, Chicago and every other Democrat run city and state.

One of the reasons so many RINO’s and so called Republican think tanks are supporting Rubio is big business. This amnesty would allow millions of cheap, low skilled workers into the economy and force down the costs of workers. This will have the added effect of making current legal resident aliens and citizens less employable. In other words, Americans will become much poorer.

The conservative American Action Network spent $750,000 on pro-reform commercials. One ad aimed at Florida voters called the legislation “the toughest border security plan ever passed by Congress” and urged viewers to thank Rubio for “keeping his promise and fighting to secure the border.”

And that has been shown to be an outright lie. There will be NO border security increases. In all probability, it will be decreased and this group knows it. Opposition to the latest amnesty plan has grown, not that you will see anything from the Obama Steno pool. This has had the, from the RINO and Progressive Elite’s point of view, of keeping opposition low.

Meanwhile those opposed to reform struggled to draw a crowd to a “Stop Amnesty Tour” event in Richmond, Va., Monday night.

But it remains unclear whether one side will clearly prevail come time for lawmakers to return to Washington in September, or what will happen then. GOP House leaders have said they plan to proceed with the immigration issue with single-issue bills, beginning with border security, so it remains to be seen whether they’ll get to the point of entering negotiations with the Senate on a package that could reach Obama’s desk.

Obama’s idea of negotiations is, and always has bee, “My way or else.”

Rubio recently spoke to about 50 conservative activists and other lawmakers at a meeting of the Senate’s tea party caucus. Organizers said he breezed past immigration, instead devoting much of his speech to repealing the health law.

Gee, what a surprise. Whenever he brings it up, he gets slammed on it. Rubio has a good chance of being primaried when his current term is up. Former Representative, (And a man of his word, unlike Rubio), Alan West has shown some interest in challenging Rubio.

Now, I fully agree we need to rebuild the immigration system in this country. I have first hand knowledge of just how bad it is. (The details of Mrs. Webmaster’s immigration are available on the blog and main site) Most people agree that the Immigration system is broken and needs a complete overhaul. The problem is this “Comprehensive Plan” crap. These 2000+ page bills are impossible to read or fully understand. (Look at Obamacare as an example) What is needed is fixing one section at a time. First, secure the borders. Second, deal with the problems of people who are trying to immigrate legally. That alone is a major chunk of work. Then, and only then, do we look at those in the country illegally. (Other then continuing to deport them when we catch them)

My personal plan for them is simple. You have 90 days to self deport yourself and family back to the third world hell hole you came from. Then you can come to the nearest American Consulate and fill out an application. One entry on the form will be “Have you unlawfully resided in the United States in the past?” If the answer is yes, you go to the end of the line and will have to pay a large fine. If you lie and are caught out, you are GONE! You will not be allowed to enter the United States ever again.

For those who were brought in as children, and who have assimilated into American Culture, you will also have to leave, but you may apply for an expedited return. (No more then 90 days from handing in the form until the visa is issued), you must have someone in the United States who will sponsor you. I have no doubt there will be friends and groups who will do so. However, for those who have not assimilated, (And this is very easy to ascertain. You speak, read and write English fluently), you will have to wait your turn. However, your previous status as a minor illegal alien, will not be held against you PROVIDED, you have committed no other felonious criminal acts.

After all this, if people are still found to be in the United States illegally, round them up and ship them out. No appeals, no hearings, GONE! At that point, you have had your chances and ignored them. You have no rights at all as far as I’m concerned. You will have demonstrated your contempt for American laws. Goodbye, Good riddance and don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.

Another thing that needs to be dealt with is the birthright issue. By this I mean that anyone born in the United States is automatically a United States citizen. This might require an Amendment to correct and has to be done very carefully. Basically, if your mother is a United States citizen, (Born or Naturalized), you are a United States Citizen. (Note that I am not including fathers here even though this can be tested scientifically), If you are born of a legal resident alien, at the age of 18, you will need to declare your citizenship, otherwise you will be considered a citizen of whatever country your mother is from. For those born of mothers in the country illegally, you are automatically considered a citizen of your mothers country and will be deported. Since you didn’t choose where you were born or choose your mother, you may immigrate to the United States. Your mother? No. She is out forever.

Now as always, the devil will be in the details. What I have suggested, unlike the Rubio plan, is an overview. The Immigration system overhaul should be done one piece at a time, with careful thought as to what could go wrong. None of this “We must pass the bill to know what’s in the bill” crap. Do this right, and once again, America will be that shining beacon. Do it the Rubio wrong way and you pretty much end the United States as a free and successful nation.
