Der Fubar apologizes to people losing their insurance

No, not really. However, the Obama Steno Pool is trying to spin his non-apology apology to appear as if the SCoaMF is truly remorseful. In reality, it looked more like he would rather have his wisdom teeth pulled without anesthetic.

Last night, King Putt went on NBC and was interviewed by his favorite bootlicker, Chuck Todd. Todd, as expected, tossed nothing but softballs at the Dirtbag in Chief. The culmination was this “Apology” to the tens of millions of people his administration is screwing over. From NBC News:

President Obama said Thursday that he is “sorry” that some Americans are losing their current health insurance plans as a result of the Affordable Care Act, despite his promise that no one would have to give up a health plan they liked.

“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me,” he told NBC News in an exclusive interview at the White House.

“We’ve got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this.”

This isn’t an apology. All it is, is a “Sorry you got screwed. Life’s tough and I’m wonderful. So why am I here dealing with this nonsense? I should be out on the back 9 right now.” You will note that he is NOT apologizing for lying through his teeth to everyone about being able to keep their insurance.

Obama has made repeated assurances that “if you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan” with Obamacare.

And as we now know, this was a bald faced lie by the most corrupt president in history.

Consumers who buy insurance on their own — about five percent of the population — are at risk of being forced off their current policies because their plans have changed and don’t meet the new standards of the Affordable Care Act.

The current estimate is that 10-14 million policies will be canceled thanks to Obama 404Care. We’re already finding out that people who were being well treated under their old plans, having serious life threatening illnesses such as cancer, are being notified that their plans are considered garbage by Obama and they are being canceled. When they are able to get into Obama 404Care and see their options, well, this is where the links lead to.

The Obama 404Care plans are so bad, that these people, some of whom have been fighting cancer for years, are now being sentenced to certain death. And what was Obama’s response? “Sorry about that, but you were stupid enough to believe me. Now go away and don’t bother me.”

Obama’s statement has been called into question as Americans have begun to receive cancellation notices, effectively forcing them to enroll in a new plan either with their current insurer or through the government exchanges, in many cases at a higher rate.

Guidance from the Department of Health and Human Services dating back to July 2010 estimated that “40 to 67 percent” of the 14 million consumers in that marketplace could lose their policies due to turnover in the individual insurance market, NBC News found.

“Obviously we didn’t do a good enough job in terms of how we crafted the law,” Obama said in the interview Thursday. “And, you know, that’s something I regret. That’s something we’re gonna do everything we can to get fixed … We’re looking at a range of options.”

And if you believe that he is looking at a range of options, I have a bridge in a swamp I want to sell you. Obama has no intention of changing anything, other then protecting and enriching his cronies. All he will do is lie and give fake apologies.

After the initial NBC News report, the administration insisted that the president did not mislead Americans, arguing that the law could not have accounted for insurers altering existing plans after passage of the law.

And that was another lie. They knew three years ago that this load of crap would force insurance companies to cancel the current plans people had.

Yet earlier this week, Obama tweaked his promise, acknowledging that plans that have been substantially changed since passage of the law would no longer be “grandfathered” into acceptance under the ACA.

“If you had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law passed,” he said.

And what might constitute a change? Things like a simple rate hike for one.

On Thursday, Obama said many of the people being canceled could get better cheaper plans in the marketplaces, but he acknowledged glitches are preventing that.

And that is another lie. People are getting in and finding out that similar plans will cost 2-5 times what their old ones did with huge deductibles. In other words, the plans are unfordable for most people. And the so called subsidies? All but worthless for most people. They won’t see them, as a pair of Obama suck-ups in San Francisco just found out. Here are the amusing details from ProPublica:

San Francisco architect Lee Hammack says he and his wife, JoEllen Brothers, are “cradle Democrats.” They have donated to the liberal group Organizing for America and worked the phone banks a year ago for President Obama’s re-election.

Since 1995, Hammack and Brothers have received their health coverage from Kaiser Permanente, where Brothers worked until 2009 as a dietitian and diabetes educator. “We’ve both been in very good health all of our lives – exercise, don’t smoke, drink lightly, healthy weight, no health issues, and so on,” Hammack told me.

Basically, the Moonbats old plan ran them about $550 a month with a $4000 deductible. The new and improved Obama 404Care plan? $1300 a month, a $6350 a year deductible and higher costs for drugs and doctor visits…if they can find a doctor that is. Read the whole thing. It’s hilarious at just how stupid these two Moonbats are. They also make to much for a subsidy. Their plan to get around that? Lower their income so that they can stick it to the taxpayers. As we have come to expect from Liberals, they are worthless, greedy slime who think the world owes them something. Of course, I have no doubt they swallowed Il Douche’s “Heartfelt apology” hook, line, sinker, rod and reel.

Obama 404care needs to die. The Republicans can drive a stake through this in a very simple manner. Have a plan and legislation ready to go that restores the rights of the people. This means things like allowing insurance companies to sell across state lines, (They can’t now), ending all these “Mandated services,” and of course, tort reform to crush these corrupt trial lawyers who are always looking for a nice payday for themselves. (Their “clients” usually get shafted)

Well, Obama 404Care is supposed to be fully operational by December 1^st. Not one person in the IT field believes this will happen. Currently, there are some 800 known defects they are working on. The operative word is “Known.” I can speak from experience that there will be a lot more, not to mention new bugs introduced with these fixes. Obama 404Care can’t be fixed. It must be repealed.
