Slow Joe Biden goes to Asia

Good day all. With the ongoing collapse of Obama 404Care, a really dangerous situation has come up in the Pacific. China has decided to declare an Air Defense Zone over several small islands that both Japan and China are claiming.

China announced that aircraft flying into this zone could be shot down. The United States responded by flying a pair of B-52 bombers right through the zone ((US Defies China’s Fly Zone with B-52 Flight)). They passed through unmolested, however China is moving their aircraft carrier into the area. Because of this very delicate situation, the Obama Administration decided to send Shotgun Joe ((Joe Biden’s tip for self-defense: Get a shotgun)) to try and cool down the situation. Now, in previous administrations, sending the Vice President out to discuss such issues was seen as a good thing. All parties involved would know that the VP would be talking directly to the president. The VP would have some senior State Department types to assist him if the Secretary of State wasn’t available. In most cases, the VP would be able to at least slow things down a bit.

In this case, I fully expect radioactive mushroom clouds to start sprouting. Joe Biden is not your typical Vice President. In point of fact, he’s probably one of the dumbest VP’s we’ve had in a century. He isn’t called “Gaffe Master J” for nothing. It’s been long known that Biden’s mouth can’t be bothered to access what passes for his brain, which is why we get such gems as “Buy a double barreled shotgun and fire a couple of blasts in the air. One bonehead is already using that as his defense for illegally firing a shotgun ((Man claims ‘Joe Biden defense’ after firing shotgun into the air)).

Now that Biden is over there, he has, as usual, opened his mouth and inserted his foot. Because of the Exclusion Zone, Biden has remarked that there could be an accident. Accident? There have been several airliners blown out of the sky in the last few decades and not one of them was by accident. In a few cases, there may have been some mis-identification, but the missiles didn’t just launch on their own. The pilots and others received a valid order to fire and did so. This caused the USSR to shoot down KAL 007 ((Korean Air Lines Flight 007)) back in 1983 and the United States Navy to shoot down ((Navy Missile Downs Iranian Jetliner)) an Iranian airliner in 1988. In both cases, the crews involved thought they were shooting at something else, and not a civilian airliner. I guess Slow Joe must think that Surface to Air and Air to Air missiles just fire themselves, much like a gun owned by a citizen will if left loaded and unattended.

Now, Biden is over there trying to get all the parties to start talking to each other. According to Fox News, he has his work cut out for him.

American allies Japan and South Korea are barely speaking. China is butting heads with its neighbors and with the U.S. about Beijing’s new air-defense zone over a group of tiny islands that have exacerbated long-simmering territorial conflicts.

From what I’ve read, the reason everyone wants these islands is oil. Apparently there is a reserve under there that rivals, if not surpasses what the Saudi’s have.

The U.S. on Friday advised American carriers to comply with China’s demand that it be told of any flights passing through that defense zone.

This makes sense of course. B-52’s have all sorts of nifty toys they can use if China does something stupid, like fire on them. Airliners flat out don’t. There is also a US aircraft carrier always on station in the region. If the Chinese were dumb enough to fire on a US aircraft, the F/A18’s could put the Chinese Carrier on the bottom if they had to. Of course, neither the Chinese or anyone else really wants shooting to start. So why did they send the Gaffe Master over there?

Biden will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe before focusing on women’s issues with the new U.S. ambassador, Caroline Kennedy.

Umm, women’s issues? There is a possibility of a shooting war and these two idiots are going to talk about how women are treated in Japan?

In Beijing, Biden hold talks meet with China’s president, Xi Jinping, vice president, Li Yuanchao, and premier, Li Keqiang.

Anyone want to bet the first words out of Gaffe Master J’s big mouth will be: “Where can I get some Egg Foo Yong and fried rice?”

After meeting with South Korean leaders in Seoul, Biden will give a major speech on the U.S.-Korea relationship at Yonsei University and lay a wreath at a cemetery honoring fallen U.S. troops.

Shortly after Biden’s speech, where he will probably refer to North Korea as a land of opportunity followed by insulting the Korean president’s mother when he tries speaking a Korean phrase.

This is what happens when you elect an incompetent boob as president and he chooses the dumbest member of Congress he can find as his VP. Under Bush, no matter how much you hated him, the United States was respected. Nations knew just where everyone stood and how far they could push. With the SCoaMF we now have, those nations no longer respect us and certainly don’t fear us. What might the upshot to all of this be?

Yeah, and that moron of a VP will certainly NOT be the one to try and cool things down. My advice to all? Start looking at fall out shelters.
