Bambi birth control not working

Good day all. A few years ago a bunch of anti-human, pro-animal types, more commonly known as PETA, decided that one way to deal with the overpopulation of deer was to give them birth control.

As you might have guessed, it’s worked about as well as it does for teenage girls. The fun part about all this? Rather then PETA, which doesn’t stand for People Eating Tasty Animals…damn it, spending their own money to do this, they have gotten the taxpayers to do it. Here are the details from Fox News:

From New York to California, local governments are spending taxpayer dollars to sterilize female deer, but critics say the approach is a misguided, ineffective and “incredibly expensive” approach to thinning out the herds that has become a suburban scourge.

Gee, what a surprise this is…NOT! Any idea a liberal group comes up with can be guaranteed to be incredibly expensive and a total failure. The way it works is simple. They hit the female deer with a tranquilizer gun then cut out the ovaries.

It’s expensive: The town of Cayuga Heights, N.Y., spent $35,808 to sterilize a dozen does last month. A year earlier, the town spent $148,315 to remove ovaries from 137 female deer. And after the 2012 effort, a survey found an estimated 225 deer — or 125 per square mile — were living in the village, well above the recommended population for suburban communities of 15 to 20 deer per square mile.

“In most cases, they are not effective and incredibly expensive,” Kip Adams, director of education and outreach at The Quality Deer Management Association, told FoxNews.com of sterilization efforts. “There’s a lot of costs involved and at the same time, there’s a lot of stress placed on the animals. And at the end of the day, in most cases you still have well over 100 deer per mile, which is at least five times higher than the recommended amount.”

Now why are they wasting all this money, between roughly $1000 to $3000 per deer on this? I’ll give you three guesses, but you will only need one.

“Fertility control is often suggested or advocated by individuals and organizations as a humane and cost-effective way to control deer populations or to reduce damages or conflicts associated with deer, especially in urban-suburban areas,” the report stated.

Awww, we don’t want to hurt Bambi’s mom, just make sure she doesn’t have any more Bambi’s. What’s next? Free deer abortions? A Morning After pill? This is the absolute height of stupidity and in my opinion, a criminal misuse of of my tax dollars. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars doing this. In fact, you can make a pretty good profit from an alternative method. It’s tried and true, and is absolutely guaranteed to reduce the size of the herd. What is this method?

You shoot them, kill them, gut them, skin them and then cook and eat them! Simple no fuss, a bit of a muss of course and has been used for hundreds of millennium. The states can even charge a small fee for shooting the deer. The hunters can sell or donate the venison they don’t want so you feed hungry people good lean meat. Best of all? The number of deer eating your rhododendrons drops significantly.

If PETA and the other anti-human organizations are so hell bent on handing out condoms to deer, let them pay for it themselves. This will accomplish one good thing. It will bankrupt these moonbats and they will stop annoying us.
