changes, updates and music

Good day all. This is the Angry Systems Administrator. An update for Wordpus came out yesterday and was applied. none of the problems we saw from the last upgrade appear to have been corrected. No surprise there. You may have also noticed that the theme for the Blog seemed to keep changing. Part of that was testing the update and the other was investigating a new theme.

During the weekend, you may see things bouncing around as the Angry Webmaster and I do some testing on new themes and configurations. While we do this, we thought we would provide you with a little music from a group we discovered last night. This group is called DragonForce. To be honest, we had never heard of them. We found out about it after I finished reading the latest novel from John Ringo’s To Sail a Darkling Sea, book 2 in the Black Tide Rising series.

 

The band was mentioned in the book and being curious, I logged into YouTube and listened to an album. All I can say about this is:

DAMN YOU JOHN RINGO!

Now I’m going to have to buy all their albums. Here is a taste of what I discovered. You can listen to it while we screw around with the blog.

    The band has been used in several of his books before. I just wish he and Travis Taylor would get around to finishing up the Looking Glass series. But they probably didn’t sell well enough for them to ever bother. Pity, that.

      I may have missed them in other books. I agree, but I understand the Doc is hip deep in work and doesn’t have the time. I could be wrong of course
