Dirtbags mug woman in labor

Good day all. I was surfing the web when I came across this little gem regarding a pair of dirtbags who thought robbing a pregnant woman, in labor, at gun point, would be a great idea.

This crime happened in Annapolis, Maryland, a state that denies people the means to defend themselves against dirtbags such as this pair. Here are the details from CBS Baltimore:

Annapolis Police arrest two people for an armed robbery of a pregnant woman in labor.

And that is the way to start a story. The scumbags have been arrested. Personally, I would have preferred shot resisting arrest, but beggars can’t be choosers.

An eyewitness called police at around 4:30 a.m. after seeing a man and pregnant woman being held at gunpoint in the 1800-block of Copeland Street.

Now there is the second bit of good news in this story. A good citizen spotted the crime in progress and called 911, and actually got through. I would have preferred “An eyewitness to the attack shot both perpetrators with a rifle, killing both and saving the victims of this evil crime.” but again, beggars can’t be choosers. Besides, this is Maryland. The good citizen would probably be arrested and the criminals released…if they survived.

The woman was going into labor prior to the robbery and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

And you know the now proud parents would have mentioned that little factoid to the numb-nuts in question. Couples on their way to the maternity ward are generally a bit preoccupied after all.

When officers arrived on scene, one of the victims pointed to the suspects fleeing the neighborhood in a stolen vehicle.

Where upon the officers opened fire on the escaping dirtbags….ok, I can dream can’t I?

Officers pursued the vehicle to Tyler Court, where the driver and passenger abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. During the chase the suspects threw a gun from the vehicle, which was recovered by officers. After a brief foot chase both the driver and the passenger were arrested.

Damn, they should have just gunned them down. After all, they did find a gun and they had threatened harm to a woman in the process of becoming a mother.

Devery Kelley, 24, of Annapolis and Cornell Robinson, 44, of Washington, D.C. are being held at the Annapolis Police Department. Charges are pending.

Not to sound racist and all, but would you care to place a small wager that these two sons of crack whores were of recent African decent? Granted I don’t have that information, since this was a story from a Progressive Liberal ~~pretend~~ News Service and all, but I think it’s probably a safe bet. Now, what should be done with these two cunning criminals?

Personally, I think castration followed by a public crucifixion would fit the bill nicely. Oh, don’t nail them to a cross, that would cause them to go into shock to quickly from the pain and blood loss. No, just tie them to the crossbeam and the post. That way they will linger in agony, giving them time to reflect on their career choice.

What will probably happen is they will be plead down to something like jaywalking and given a suspended sentence. This is Maryland after all, and the only people who are punished by “The System” are those who are generally productive, law abiding citizens. Scum like Devery Kelly, (And what the hell kind of name is Devery anyway?) and Cornell Robinson, (Hmm, looking at the age differences, I wonder. A father and son outing?), are considered “Victims of Society” and granted free reign to commit whatever mayhem they want. And people wonder why things are going to Hell in a hand basket?
