Michelle Obama’s mother, classic “Ugly American”

Good day all. Last week Michelle Obama, her daughters and her mother blew into China for a vacation on the Taxpayer’s dime…again.

I’m not going into the Obama’s sense of royal entitlement, others have skewered them on this far better then I could. No, I’m going to report on just how obnoxious this group is, starting with Michelle Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson acting like the stereotypical “Ugly American ((Ugly American))” and treating the Chinese hotel staff like coolies ((Coolie)). Here are the details from the Daily Mail:

Michelle Obama and three of her family members are staying in a $8,350-per-night Beijing presidential suite, but despite a 24-hour butler and other perks that come with the lodging, her entourage has inconvenienced ‘pretty much everyone’ and made the hotel staff ‘fed up,’ a well-placed hotel staffer has told MailOnline. The sumptuous pad at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel – its website calls the room ‘an oasis of comfort – is a 3,400-square-foot masterpiece including a private steam room, ‘corner sofas with silk pillows,’ and in-room dining for six. But the Obamas’ stay has already affected staff and guests at the hotel, with the Westin front-desk veteran alleging that Mrs. Obama’s mother Marian Robinson has been ‘barking at the staff since she arrived.’

Why Michelle Obama’s mother is on this trip is a good question. I wonder if she is paying her own way over as well as the hotel bill and meals. Who the hell am I kidding? This piece of two bit trailer trash The Royal Mother In-Law shall be waited on hand and foot and her every desire catered to and the serfs taxpayers will foot the bills. And of course, it doesn’t stop here. Because this is the family of the President of the United States, certain security measures have to be taken, which also went over well with the staff and the guests who actually pay their own bills.

Government security forces from both China and the U.S. started Thursday to screen everyone who entered the building, including paying guests, setting up checkpoints that resemble those at airline concourse entrances.

And I’m sure the guests are simply thrilled with this.

The Secret Service’s monopoly on the hotel’s highest floors has meant the Westin had to boot guests with previous reservations out of their executive-level rooms. Secret Service agents are also monopolizing hotel elevators long before the Obamas need them, added the staffer, who identified himself as a member of the concierge staff and spoke English during a phone call on Friday. ‘Many of them are Asian, too, or Americans who are Asian, so you know our guests don’t understand.’ ‘We can’t wait for this to be over, to tell you the truth,’ he said in a sudden hush. ‘We entertain many important people here, but this has been, I think, very different.’

This is different for a simple reason. China hasn’t had an emperor or empress for almost 100 years, so you’ve forgotten how they expect their every whim to be catered to instantly. Normally, things like this are planned for months in advance so that the facilities can make adjustments to their bookings and not have to throw people out of their very expensive and paid for rooms. With the Obama’s, it’s always a spur of the moment idea with only just enough lead time for the Secret Service to make arrangements for hookers their security Well, at least the Obama daughters are behaving themselves.

The Westin employee and another colleague said Sasha and Malia Obama have been on their best behavior because Mrs. Robinson has kept them on a short leash.

Well, at least Mrs. Robinson is doing one thing right. Being a real grandmother. That doesn’t excuse her acting as of the hotel staff are her personal slaves. Oh, if you think that it’s only the American taxpayers getting shafted on this trip? Think again.

The Washington Times reported Thursday that an entourage of about 70 people is accompanying the guests of honor to China at taxpayer expense. The White House has taken pains to frame Mrs. Obama’s trip as a cultural journey rather than a political one, but taxpayers are paying through the nose for it nonetheless.

Oh yeah! And to my Chinese in-laws? Welcome to the party pals! Now you know what we’ve been dealing with for the last 5 years. As I’ve mentioned in the past, and as you will have just noticed, Mrs. Webmaster is a Chinese citizen and is in the United States with a Permanent Resident visa. (The Green Card) I’ve been to China a few times, and really want to get back over there again. Every time I’ve gone over, I’ve always been on my best behavior, (Even when Mrs. Webmaster’s evil friends took us out and plied us with strong drink), and done my best to be the perfect guest. It’s people like the Obama’s who think the world owes them something that really hurt things for the rest of America. I shudder to think how the Obama daughters are going to turn out when they leave the White House and have to pay for all these trips out of their own pockets. I get the feeling the apples wont’ fall far from the trees and that’s a shame. They really deserve better parents.

What would I like to see in 2017? A full audit of all these trips to see just how badly we taxpayers were shafted. Then I would like to go after the Obama’s and get our money back. Ok, I can dream can’t I?
