Democrats verses the Koch brothers

The economy sucks, the Russians are about to conquer the Ukraine and probably keep moving west, Obamacare is the utter disaster we all knew it would be, scandal after scandal coming out of the White House, and who do the Democrats plan on using as their main item in the 2014 midterm election?

The Koch brothers. The Progressive Liberal Democrats Idiots have decided that the best way to keep control of the senate and regain the house is to run against Charles and David Koch rather then run on their record of utter mismanagement, incompetence and stupidity. Funny thing, I don’t recall either one of the Koch brothers announcing they were seeking political office. Here are the details of the Democrats attacks from Fox News:

Political attacks on the Koch brothers have emerged as a key, practically everyday part of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his Democratic Party’s 2014 election strategy — accusing the wealthy conservative donors of trying to buy elections and block aid to Ukraine.

The attacks began in earnest last month when the Nevada Democrat in notable floor speeches accused Charles and David Koch of being “un-American” and “trying to buy America” and continued straight through this week.

“Across the country Republican Senate candidates are embracing a dangerous agenda that’s good for billionaires like the Koch Brothers and bad for nearly everyone else in the country,” the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee said Thursday in announcing a record-breaking February fundraising haul of $6.8 million.

I don’t make claims on being any sort of expert on the Koch family. All I know is they are very rich, donate large sums of money to worthy causes like cancer research and hospitals and donate money to Republican candidates and causes. I don’t see them getting convicted getting convicted of insider trading, funding groups that are dedicated to suppressing the constitutional rights of individual Americans and his opinion that he should rule the world. Long active in conservative politics, they seized on the 2010 Citizens United court ruling that allows unlimited corporate spending on political campaigns, often without disclosing donors. They helped found Americans for Prosperity, which reported spending $122 million on elections in 2012. In addition, Charles Koch helped start the Washington-based Cato Institute in the late 1970s. The family has given millions to the Libertarian-minded think tank over the years but was involved in a public dispute with leaders several years ago.

Oh do Progressive Liberal Democrats HATE the Citizens United decision. Of course, Progressive Liberal Democrats hate anything that doesn’t further their goal of Progressive Liberal enslavement of the average citizen. When the Citizens United decision came down, the floodgates were opened and huge amounts of money started landing on republican and conservative doorsteps. Prior to this, the only ones pouring money into campaign coffers were the Unions. And it was all going straight into the Democrats pockets. Now that the Republicans are getting money, they are getting their messages out and winning elections. At least they are when they aren’t being the party of stupid.

Since the Progressive Liberal Democrats can’t win election on facts, they resort to what they do best. Lie.

As part of the Democratic offensive this year against the brothers, and the apparent attempt to keep criticism about them in the news cycle, Reid and fellow Senate leaders last week suggested the brothers are behind congressional Republicans agreeing to support a Ukraine aid package only in exchange for delays in IRS rules that would impact the political activities of nonprofits like Americans for Prosperity.

More recently, there has been a story that has appeared saying that the Koch brothers are the largest lease holders in the Canadian tar sands in Alberta, Canada, and that because of this they have been pushing the Keystone pipeline. There was just a small problem with this. They aren’t the largest lease holders and John Hindraker of the Powerline Blog tore the writers of the story into teensy tiny pieces showing that the Koch’s weren’t the largest lease holders and that the Koch’s don’t expect to be customers of the company that is building the Keystone XL Pipeline. This has forced the Washington Post to start walking back the story. This hasn’t stopped that utter crook Harry Reid from slandering the Kochs. According the to Fox News Story:

Reid returned to the Senate floor last week to say that when Republican senators rush to defend the Koch brothers, they are also defending the brothers’ “radical philosophy.” He challenged Republicans by asking, “Is even one of you willing to stand up and disavow the Koch brothers’ radical agenda?

Radical agenda? Well, by the standards of the Progressive Liberal Democrats, it is pretty radical. They support freedom, the Constitution, the rule of law, smaller government, you know, pretty much everything most Americans, not to mention the Founders of this country want. The Progressive Liberal Democrats? They are for suppression of free speech, religion, (Except Islam. That’s ok since Muslims will kill the PLD’s if they don’t support them), confiscation of all firearms, and in general, the complete subjugation of the United States to the UN kleptocrats. Oh, they hate Israel too and want the Jews exterminated.

Louisiana Republican Sen. David Vitter has publicly defended the brothers, saying at a recent town hall meeting that they are “two of the most patriotic Americans.”

“God bless the Koch brothers,” said Vitter, according to YouTube video posted by trackers American Bridge. “They’re fighting for our freedom.”

You might think that the Koch’s would have a case to legally splatter Dingy Harry Reid for slander, and in most cases you would probably be right. However, since this scumbag is launching his attacks on the floor of the Senate, he has immunity from pretty much any sort of lawsuit. This is why he is saying these things on the Senate floor and not on camera in the MSNBC studios.

The Progressive Liberal Democrats are totally bereft of any ideas other then pushing the same old Socialist agenda they’ve been pushing for almost a century. Their best chance to achieve their goals of finally crushing the free enterprise system and constitutional government was in 2009-2010 when they had a filibuster proof majority in the senate and a communist community organizer in the White House. All they were able to do was ram through Obamacare with not one single Republican supporting it and not only has that proven to be a complete failure, the majority of people have hatred it since day one. Because the people saw what was happening, they organized new political groups and massacred the Progressive Liberal Democrats in the 2010 midterms. The only reason the Republicans didn’t get control of the White House and the senate in 2012 was the suppression of the conservative groups by the IRS and other government agencies. Now, with all the scandals and coming out and proof that the IRS was actively working to suppress the Tea Party, and the collapse of Obamacare, it looks like the 2014 midterms might be an even bigger disaster for the Progressive Liberal Democrats then 2010 was.
