Losing lawyer calls Supreme Court racist

I recently wrote about the Supreme Court upholding the ban on affirmative action in Michigan. This was primarily aimed at the universities in that state. The law which was being argued basically said that you can’t discriminate due to someone’s skin color when approving them for admittance to collage.

The decision went 6-2 in favor of upholding the Michigan ban on affirmative action. The only two who opposed it were Sotomayor and Bader-Ginsburg, the two hard left moonbats who sat on this case. (Elena Kagan recused herself) I have gone into the meat of the decision so I wont’ repeat myself. I’m going to talk about what a real piece of work the lawyer who argued and lost the case is. This nitwit, in the typical manner of moonbats everywhere when they lose an argument, has said the court, at least the 6 members who went against her, are racists. Here are the details from Fox News:

The civil rights lawyer who argued unsuccessfully before the Supreme Court to end Michigan’s affirmative action ban repeated Sunday that the high court’s decision was “racist.”

“This is a racist decision that takes us back to an era of state’s rights,” civil rights attorney Shanta Driver told “Fox News Sunday.” “This decision cannot stand.”

What a typical member of the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats. She didn’t get her way and so it’s racism. And I hate to be the bearer of bad news comrade, but the court wasn’t split 5-4 as has been the case of late. One of the progressive liberals crossed over. I have no idea how Kagan would have ruled. And now a little back story.

The high court’s 6-2 decision Tuesday upheld a voter-approved change to the Michigan Constitution in 2006 that forbids the state’s public colleges to make race, gender, ethnicity or national origin a factor in college admissions. The basis of the case was the 1995 decision of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to reject the application of Jennifer Gratz.

Ms. Gratz met all the qualifications for admittance to the university except one. She was not of recent African decent, but of distant African decent.

Gratz, who is white, told “Fox News Sunday” that she found it “unbelievable” that a decision that prohibits race discrimination could be perceived as “racist.” She also said she challenged the school’s decision because it was based on “skin color,” not because her enrollment application was rejected.

Ms. Gratz, you appear to not fully understand the thought processes of the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrat Moonbat. Oh wait, they don’t have thought processes, they only “feel” things. If it feels right or feels good, then it is acceptable. Anything else is RACIST!

Driver argued that minorities typically attend under-performing schools, which put them at a disadvantage compared to students at better, suburban schools. And minority students have less power, compared to athletes or children of alumni, for example, to get accepted into universities, she said.

Well, Ms. Dumbass, you might want to consider a few odds and ends here. A fair number of people on athletic scholarships, (And I wont’ go into my opinion of those), happen to have dark skin. And about all those under performing schools? Why aren’t you working to improve them? Are you volunteering to tutor all those students that need help and guidance? Of course you aren’t. Your response to people telling you to shove off is this:

“The old Jim Crow [law] is now the new Jim Crow,” Driver said.

I looked up Shanta Driver, and what the hell kind of a name is “Shanta” anyway? Isn’t that the name of Shamu’s sister in the whale pod or something? Anyway, she is a classic moonbat. She graduated from Harvard with a degree, (I think), in Psychology and Social Relations. Then she went to law school, however it wasn’t Harvard Law. I guess they thought they had already done their affirmative action bit with her Psychology and Social Relations degree. In looking through the remainder of her biography, all I see is an angry, left wing failure who refuses to see people as, you know, people. From what I’m seeing and her own remarks, she comes across as someone who thinks the world owes her. It isn’t at all surprising that she immediately resorted to screaming “RACIST” when she didn’t get her way.

Well Ms. Driver, I have some bad news for you. You and all the other moonbats have gone to the “YOU’RE ALL RACISTS!!” well to often and the well has run dry. People, in general, no longer consider what is on the outside, only what is on the inside. To quote Master Yoda:

“Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.”

Wake up and smell the roses Ms. Driver. There is no more institutional racism except by people like you. You are the new racists.
