Wealthy congressman’s kids on welfare

Good day all. As the title says, the ex-wife and children of one of the wealthiest members of the House of Representatives is now on welfare. And who is this sleazy, greedy, good for nothing bum of a father?

His name is Alan Grayson, one of the most disgusting creatures to ever infest the House of Representatives with his presence. Oh, in case you are thinking this piece of human debris is a greedy Republican, think again. He’s a member of the Democrat party. He lost his seat in the 2010 blowout in Florida due to his outright nuttiness, and was barely able to sleaze his way back into office in 2012. Now he is letting his children live in poverty while he lives high on the Progressive hog in Washington. Here are the details from WFTV:

Alan Grayson is one of richest congressman in the country, but just one week before Election Day, 9 Investigates has learned his estranged wife is now using tax dollars to support her children. In front of his home, Channel 9’s Karla Ray saw a septic leak. Inside the home, she saw mold in nearly every room.

“I don’t have any money at all,” said Grayson’s wife, Lolita Grayson. “He’s been holding all our money for years and years.” Grayson’s wife said she applied for and received an EBT card from the state.

Anyone who knows anything about Alan Grayson and his antics won’t be surprised over this. He has a long history of sleaze and slime. As you might expect, Grayson’s “People” are punching back.

Alan Grayons’ attorney, Mark Nejame, said it’s no surprise the information is coming out now, one week before Election Day, arguing Lolita Grayson’s assistance application is incomplete. On the paperwork, she only claims $592 per child for her monthly income, but Nejame says Grayson is also paying the mortgage, utilities and phone bill for the home, a total of about $10,000 a month.

“This is abusing the public,” Nejame said. “She’s going out and asking for support because she can’t support herself on $120,000? That’s outrageous.”

Oh, it gets better. Grayson isn’t paying support because he’s claiming he was never married to Lolita Grayson.

Rep. Grayson does not pay spousal support because his marriage is under the scope of a bigamy claim. His attorneys are claiming the marriage was never valid because Lolita Grayson was never divorced from her last husband.

“We hope the public sees it for what it is,” said Nejame. “She was deemed to be an untruthful person who has been vindictive from the first go-around.”

I think the phrase here goes along the lines of the pot calling the kettle black. Now I don’t know the circumstance of their marriage or the breakup, and frankly it isn’t mine, or anyone else’s concern. However, considering Representative Grayson’s previous antics, I tend to believe that he is skipping out on supporting his family. I have no idea if he is facing an opponent, but I hope he is and gets his head handed to him again. As Governor Sarah Palin once remarked:

“It’s okay if the Republicans lose every seat in the Senate and the House except for one. As long as that one is Alan Grayson losing.”

Grayson is scum. I would say he even makes Dingy Harry Reid look good, and we know how hard that is.
