Recently variations of this picture have started cropping up including a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn.

I have an answer to this. Do I miss President George Walker Bush? Not so much. Now, before you collapse into a dead faint over my answer, don’t worry, I haven’t had my brain removed and become a born again moonbat. Here’s my reasoning.
Basically, I consider Bush to be a poor to mediocre president. Yes, after 9/11 he did keep any more attacks from happening in the U.S., (Which is more then we can say of Jug Ears, the coke snorting twerp), but domestically Bush was a complete disaster.
He signed a number of bad bills into law, such as the blatantly unconstitutional McCain/Feingold campaign reform act, (Or as I like to call it the Incumbent full employment protection act), the No Child Left Behind act, (Basically federalizing education), and massive social spending and regulations on business and people.
Who can forget his “Heck of a job Brownie!” During the Hurricane Katrina aftermath. Granted former Governor Blanco and Mayor Ray Nagin were almost completely responsible for the disaster, (Remember the Yellow submarine fleet that used to be a couple of hundred school buses? The ones that weren’t used to evacuate people?), but Bush could have chosen his words a lot better and explained why things happened the way they did. (Federal aid has to be requested by the states. It can’t be imposed by the federal government unless they declare martial law and take over fully. No one wanted to open that can of worms)
Oh yes, another problem was Bush never ever defending himself against all the attacks that occurred. As near as I can tell, he wanted to be “Presidential” and rise above the petty insults and attacks. Yeah, good thinking there Sparky. If you had fought back you might not have had poll numbers in the mid 20’s when you left office.
I won’t mention his attempt to grant amnesty to 20 million criminal aliens illegally in the United States. (Especially with all the hassles I want through to bring my wife into this country legally)
He then failed to deal with problems that lead up to the bankingĀ and housing collapse and the Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac debacles. It wasn’t that he didn’t see them coming, he did and tried to fix the problems before they became unmanageable. The problem was, as soon as there was push back from the Democrats, Bush folded like an empty suit. If he had fought hard and slammed the likes of Barney Frank against the political wall, we might not have the problems we do today.
But he didn’t, did he? That’s because George Walker Bush, like his father, is basically a political wimp. Neither of the two bushes are physical cowards, Bush Sr. went into combat in WW2 and Bush Jr. flew interceptors and did volunteer to go to Vietnam. (He was rejected because his plane was being retired from service and since he wasn’t staying in, it wasn’t worth the cost to retrain him)
This isn’t to say that the current person now infesting the White House is better then Bush. Barack Obama is a disgrace and will be remembered as the worst president in US history. (Which is making Jimmy Carter a very happy former president)
No, the last truly great president that I could and did respect was Ronald Wilson Reagan. He meant what he said and he stood for his beliefs. He brought down the Soviet Empire and put this nation on an economic path that took 4 succeeding president to wreck.
No, I don’t miss George Walker Bush. Yes he was a better president then Obama is, but then it would be hard to find anyone as incompetent as that megalomaniac with delusions of relevancy. Hopefully we will find another Reagan for the 2012 election and send Obama where he belongs. Sweeping up after horses in a parade. (Which is about all he’s really qualified to do)
