Well, it’s been an eventful day today. I just learned that Bob Beckel, a hard left socialist and commentator on Fox’s “The Five” has been terminated from the network. There are rumors regarding why he was sent on his way, but it looks like his well known problems with pharmaceuticals came back with a vengeance.
Apparently he had back surgery and became addicted to pain killers. The fact that he has a known issue with addiction should have been a warning to everyone, especially his doctors that they had to monitor him very closely, even to the point of keeping him hospitalized until his recovery from the surgery was complete.
Still, I’m not sorry to see that scumbag go and be fired in such an ignominious manner. According to Politico, who quoted Bill Shine:
“We tried to work with Bob for months, but we couldn’t hold The Five hostage to one man’s personal issues,” Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming, said in a statement. “He took tremendous advantage of our generosity, empathy and goodwill and we simply came to the end of the road with him.”
Beckel was a walking socialist disease and I’m not sorry to see the fat dirtbag go. I watch The Five on occasion and cringe whenever that fat slob opened his mouth. Now the only problem is who Fox will bring in to replace him. They have named “Dunce” Juan Williams and Geraldo “Jerry Rivers” Rivera as rotating hosts.
Well, on such a bad news day, it’s always good to see a little good news.
