John Boehner to be “Cantorized”

Good day all. It seems we are gaining a new word in the English language. The new word is “Cantorized.” Basically, it means that a major political powerhouse gets blown out by an underfunded and not well known opponent in the primary.

speaker of deceit

This refers to what happened to former house majority leader, Eric Cantor when he was defeated in the Republican primary by a first time candidate named David Brat. Now the same team that took down Cantor has John “Crybaby” Boehner in their gun sights. Here are the details from Joe for America:

Conservative challenger J.D. Winteregg today announced that he has taken a major step in his bid to unseat John Boehner in the March 2016 GOP primary election. Zachary Werrell, who in 2014 engineered Dave Brat’s stunning primary upset of Eric Cantor, has officially signed on to be Senior Advisor to Winteregg’s campaign in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District.

If anyone deserves to be politically destroyed, it’s Speaker of the House, John Boehner. He has taken the Republican majority granted to him by the American voters and done nothing but roll over for Obama almost continuously. Boehner has been constantly attacking the Tea Party conservatives who gave him the Speakers gavel. Now, he is seen as vulnerable.

John Boehner is at his weakest already. Recently when Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC), filed a motion to “vacate the chair, Boehner found that he did not have the votes in congress to retain his leadership position. Boehner has been frantically trying to ‘Whip’ up the votes.

It would be nice if Boehner lost the gavel, but I don’t see that happening. If it comes down to it, the Democrats will back him rather then run the risk of having a competent conservative taking the gavel and using it on them. Of course, if Boehner has to rely on the Democrats to keep the Speaker’s chair, it just provides more ammunition to Mr. Winteregg.

The “Establishment,” (RINO’s), don’t really see Mr. Winteregg as any real threat to their spineless Speaker of the house. Winteregg ran against Boehner in 2014 in the primary and was crushed, so their thinking may be “Bring it on Egg face!” That might not work this time. Here’s why.

Running against Boehner in 2014, Winteregg raised a total of $48,000. Boehner spent nearly $13 million. Winteregg took almost 23% of the vote.

Winteregg only spent $48K on the primary and won 23% of the vote? I wonder how well he would do if he had real resources to go after Boehner? After all, look what happened to Eric Cantor.

Eric Cantor was ousted by Dave Brat using the power of the grassroots. Brat literally spent about what Cantor spent on steaks during the campaign, a fraction of the Cantor war machine.

Cantor became totally out of touch with his constituents and basically ignored their concerns. Boehner is not only ignoring the concerns of the people of Ohio, he is actually allowing Obama to do things that are harming them. (Like the EPA going after coal) People have had enough of Crybaby Boehner and this is why there is now a credible challenge to have him removed as speaker of the house. Things should become very interesting after the August recess for the wimp. I also think he’s going to have the fight of his life in 2016, and with a little luck, in 2017, he will be known as the former representative of Ohio’s 8th district.
