German Bank shuts down terrorist accounts

Good day all. This story came out last week. A bank in Germany has closed out the accounts of several Islamic terrorist groups.

The accounts were held by pro-Hamas and pro-Hezbollah supporters. The German bank, Commerzbank, told these customers that their business was no longer welcome. Here are the details from the Jerusalem Post:

Commerzbank, Germany’s second largest bank, has closed the account of the al-Quds day demonstration – which organizes annual marches in German cities calling for the destruction of Israel. The bank “closed the account in September because of business conditions,” a spokesman told The Jerusalem Post by telephone on Tuesday.

I suspect those business conditions include disgust with the desire for the Muslims to restart the Holocaust. The massive Muslim invasion masquerading as a wave of refugees might also have something to do with it.

After the mass-circulation Berlin daily BZ published a piece by popular columnist Gunnar Schupelius in July titled, “Israel haters collect money through Commerzbank,” Israel’s embassy sent a letter of complaint to the bank.

It’s quite possible the bank didn’t know that the accounts were held by pro-terrorist organizations, but I find that unlikely. It is possible they just saw the large amount of money and turned a blind eye to what the account holders true purposes were. However, once they were made aware, they did move quickly to close down the accounts.

The spokesman said the bank started the process to shut the account after the Schupelius column “drew attention” to the collection of funds for the al-Quds Day campaign. “We are sorry that we did not contact the [embassy]” in response to the letter, the spokesman said, adding that the bank plans to apologize to the legation.

Closing down the accounts as quickly as they did should help mitigate the issue. As to the al-Quds Day group? Until I read this story, I knew nothing about them, which would seem to indicate that this did slip in under the banks radar.

International Quds Day – initiated by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the Islamic Republic’s founder, in 1979 – calls for the obliteration of the Jewish state.

Schupelius, who has previously called for Berlin to outlaw the al-Quds Day marches, wrote that on July 11 he noticed the account information that the al-Quds Day activists advertised on their home page in seeking donations.

For those of you who may be thinking, “They can’t ban political protests!” this isn’t the United States, it’s Germany and yes they can. Generally they don’t, but if you start goosestepping around shouting “Heil Hitler!” the German police will land on you like a ton of bricks. The problem here is that the morons running Germany can’t get it through their thick heads that the Islamic world is just as bad as the Nazi’s.

Schupelius wrote in his column that supporters of the Tehran regime screamed, “Death to Israel, Death to America!” during their march in Berlin. The protesters then switched to Arabic and chanted, “Curse the Jews and victory to Islam!” he said. He blasted Germany’s Economy Minister and Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel for courting Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Iran’s regime as “friends.”“That can’t be, because they wish us death,” Schupelius wrote.

Gabriel visited Iran in July with a large German business delegation. “We are sleepwalkers,” because we underestimate the dangers of Iran’s regime, which seeks an atomic bomb, Schupelius wrote.

The European elites have always had major blind spots to threats. This is one reason the Nazi’s were able to take over Germany in the 30’s. No one truly believed that Hitler would try to do everything he wrote about in Mein Kampf. We’re now seeing a repeat of this in Europe today, but this time you have a number of people screaming to the high heavens. Commerzebank listened and took action. Now if only the rest of the ruling idiot class would take the hint.
