Good day all. I was perusing Faceplant when I saw a post saying that Donald Trump would like to have Representative Trey Gowdy as his Attorney General.
This report came in from Donald Trump’s Twitter feed. Trump is known to post his own tweets, so there may be something to this story. If this is true, that Trump would ask Representative Gowdy to be the Attorney General under Trump, it would be an excellent idea. The last two AG’s have shown themselves to be corrupt, worthless, racist and one of them currently held in contempt of Congress.
Granted, this is a typical “Shoot from the hip” comment from Mr. Trump, but it does show that he is thinking about who should be in his cabinet. If Trump wins, and if Rep, Gowdy accepts the position and is confirmed, I can see a very serious housecleaning happening at the Department of InJustice in 2017. Here is the “Tweet” in question:

Right off the bat, I think we’ll see a review of some of the decisions not to prosecute current and former members of the Obama administration and the agencies that report to the White House. We could see the prosecution of former Attorney General Eric Holder on the contempt charges, along with Lois Lerner for the IRS abuses. Even Cankles Clinton could end up in front of a jury. (Be still my beating heart!) Let’s see who else Trump might be considering for the future Trump cabinet. (SecState and SecDef are two other major offices where serious review and housecleaning will be required as well)
