Good day all. I awoke to the internet screaming about Dallas Texas police being shot at. It happened last night, however I wasn’t watching the TV or looking at the internet so didn’t see anything until I woke up this morning.
As always, the 72 hour rule is now in effect. What is known is that several terrorists, and this time they appear to be Home Grown and NOT Islamic terrorists, opened fire on police from a number of positions using rifles. Five officers are confirmed killed and 6 others critically wounded.
One suspect is dead by his own hand, several others are now in custody. One civilian was injured, a woman who used her body to protect her children. (This appears to have been unintentional on the part of the shooters)
A Black Lives Matter protest was just winding down when the shooting started. It appears that the shooters used this event knowing that the Dallas Police Department would be out in force to keep the peace, handle traffic control and any medical emergencies. There are numerous videos of the attack on YouTube and Facebook, and several of them are extremely graphic.
One of the videos shows a terrorist coming up behind a police officer and shooting him in the back and then firing into his head to finish him off. There was one person involved with the protests who was pictured walking around with a slung AR15. Police put out a “Be On the Look Out” alert for him. As soon as he realized they were looking for him, he went to the police. He was questioned, rather harshly, and he also turned in his rifle for examination.
He has been cleared of any involvement. I’ve seen the gentleman’s picture from last night. It does not scream out “Danger! Murderous terrorist thug! Caution!!” What I see, looking at his picture is, “Hey! Want to get some BBQ after target shooting at the range?” In other words, he didn’t come across as anyone I would want to be concerned about. Actually, looking at him, I wouldn’t mind him as a neighbor. (Although the shorts really don’t work)
One big winner in this mess will be Hillary Rodham Clinton. This is going to knock her criminal activities and the white washing of said activities by James “the coward” Comey right off the front pages, at least for a while. Of course, Cankles will no doubt start screaming about “Confiscate guns now!” and she will be right back in the dog house.
The big losers last night will be the race baiters and Social Justice Warriors from the Black Lives (and no one else’s) Matter movement. Their constant screaming about killing police officers has just blown up in their faces. Another big loser will be Barack Obama, who, with his typical tone deafness, decided to put his foot into his mouth with the incident in Louisiana. This is where a criminal got shot, and there are a number of questions about it.
Under Obama’s instructions, the Department of InJustice has taken over the investigation, and will, just like Ferguson, make a lot of noise and then determine it was a good shoot. What isn’t looking like a good police shooting occurred the other day in Minnesota.
A man with a Concealed Carry permit was pulled over with a broken tail light. He informed the police officer that he had a CCW, that he was armed and that he was reaching for his wallet. The officer panicked, told the driver to raise his hands. As the driver did so, the police officer shot him.
Unlike the Louisiana incident, this one leave very little doubt that the cop was totally off base and should be spending the rest f his life making little rocks out of big ones somewhere. THIS is the case everyone should be upset about, not the one where the criminal, resisting arrest, who had a lengthy rap sheet, and did have a gun he wasn’t supposed to have, got killed.
Over the weekend, more and better information will come out on what happened, who was involved and if this was a far reaching conspiracy rather than a local one. Our hearts go out to the families of the murdered officers and our hopes for a speedy and complete recover of the wounded officers and civilian who did her duty as a mother and put herself between the criminals and her children.
