Good day all. Since the election of Donald Trump, the Progressive Liberal Democrats have collectively taken a high dive into the deep end of the pool. We’ve seen them try everything from riots to threats against members of the Electoral College, all to no avail.
Now it seems that the Progressive Liberals, or “Proggies” have decided that the “The End Of The World As We Know It” is either coming or has arrived and now they are doing what many on the right have been doing for decades. Prepping. Part of this is Progressive Liberals suddenly discovering that the 2nd Amendment actually does say what it means, and that they need to start buying guns and ammo in case President Trump decides to round up all the LGBT’s. Here are a few details from the BBC:
Gun ownership has traditionally been associated with the right wing in America but the election of Donald Trump has prompted some left-wingers to join gun clubs – and even start preparing for the collapse of society.
“I really didn’t expect to be thinking about purchasing a gun. It was something that my father did and I rolled my eyes at him.”
Clara, a 28-year-old nursing student, grew up in the Mid-West, where “the folks that had guns were seen as hicks” or were just “culturally different”, she says.
I wonder what part of the Mid-West she grew up in that thought people who had guns were weird? Normally, you see that sort of attitude in the coastal “Blue” states.
But since the election of Donald Trump in November she has started going to a gun range for the first time and is shopping around for a semi-automatic pistol.
“It’s been seeing the way that Trump’s election has mobilised a lot of the far right and given them hope,” she says, citing a rise in reports of hate crimes and neo-Nazi activity.
Typical Proggie thinking. She’s doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. There has been no upswing of “Hate Crimes” and neo-Nazis rampaging through the streets. Of course, for a Proggie, that’s anyone who isn’t a Progressive Liberal Democrat. All the reported “Hate Crimes” have turned out to be fake and several of those who made the accusations are now being arrested for filing false police reports. Oops!
As a transgender woman, she does not fear for her personal safety in the Californian city where she now lives but she says she knows people in rural areas “who woke up and found a bunch of swastikas and words like ‘faggot’ and ‘trannie’ scrawled all over their building”.
Uh huh. I would like to see pictures and the police reports please. To date, every one of these “reports” has turned out to be false.
She foresees a wide-ranging struggle between the Trump administration and the left over issues such as immigration and racial politics.
That’s because the Left wants an end to American sovereignty and is incapable of differentiating between those who come to America lawfully and those that simple cross the border without permission. As to “Racial” politics? Hopefully, now that Obama, Holder and Lynch are gone in a few weeks, we can get back to being a colorblind society, the way we should be.
Of course, for Proggies such as yourself, you can’t get past someone’s skin color or eye shape. I’ve yet to meet a Proggie who didn’t think that anyone who wasn’t Caucasian was inferior and had to be helped by “The Great White Father/Mother.” People on the right side of the spectrum, with exceptions, really don’t care about someone’s skin color, only if they can do the job.
But won’t buying a gun just increase tensions?
“Things are already escalating and they will continue to do so and me not engaging or being prepared to defend my friends by force… isn’t going to stop people from being attacked or harassed,” Clara says.
First, I applaud you in exercising your rights to self defense and the 2nd Amendment. Second, while I personally don’t care for your life choices, I will not tolerate anyone attacking you. If someone attacks you, you have the right to do whatever you need to in order to end the attack and protect yourself.
Just prior to the election, guns sales, once again, hit record levels. It really looked like Felonia von pantsuit was going to win, and with her stated intentions of suppressing both the 1st and 2nd Amendments, many people thought that the odds of a civil war happening were frighteningly high. However, when Donald Trump was declared the winner, sales plummeted.
Gun sales in America hit record levels in October amid fears a Hillary Clinton election victory would lead to increased controls. Many expected the election of Donald Trump, whose candidacy was backed by the National Rifle Association, to bring an end to the panic buying. Shares in gun manufacturers dropped by as much as 18% following his victory.
Now for some due diligence. I own stock on both Sturm Ruger and Smith&Wesson. When Donald Trump won, I saw the stock price drop. Fortunately, I bought when the prices were low so I’m in the black.
But instead FBI background checks for gun transactions soared to a new record for a single day – 185,713 – during the Black Friday sales on 25 November, according to gun control news site The Trace.
Some of this has been put down to gun retailers selling off stock at reduced prices, but there have also been reports of more “non-traditional” buyers, such as African Americans and other minorities, turning up at gun shops and shooting ranges.
Good! It’s time that these fine honest Americans prepare to defend themselves against the Criminal elements.
Lara Smith, national spokesperson for the Liberal Gun Club, says her organisation has seen a “huge” rise in enquiries since November’s election and a 10% increase in paid members.
There is actually a Liberal Gun Club? Isn’t that a bit of an oxymoron? Still, it shows that the Proggies are coming to understand that guns aren’t magic and you really need to know how to handle them safely.
Some of the new members are reluctant first-time gun owners, says Smith, concerned that isolated acts of aggression against minorities could escalate into something more violent and that a Trump administration will dismantle key constitutional rights, leading to a “more fascist rule than the US has ever had”.
Ok, we have a problem here. The Proggies are operating, as usual, under the delusions that anyone who isn’t “One of them” is a racist and a Fascist. Of course, in the typical Proggie Moonbat world they live in, they can’t understand that Fascism is actually something from the left side of the political spectrum, not the right. They also have a strong belief in things that aren’t true and are not capable of actually learning anything. They might want to hold off on their firearms purchases until they are no longer a danger to themselves, or others.
“In the more conservative gun world, there is definitely a feeling that liberals hate guns,” says Smith, who voted for Hillary Clinton and describes herself as a “moderate Democrat”.
There is no such thing. The moderate Democrat was James Webb and he was quickly booted off the Progressive Liberal Democrat island.
“If you go into gun forums and discuss your politics, you are very clearly not welcome. Libtard [an abbreviation of ‘liberal retard’] is one of the nicer things they say. It can get pretty nasty very quickly.”
Yeah, it can, and you can blame yourselves and Obama for that. For decades the left has been ramming their views down people’s throats, insulting them, threatening them and in many cases, outright ruining them because the wouldn’t toe the Progressive Liberal line. You get the same things, and actually worse from the forums on the political left.
However, the Proggie belief that the Trump Administration is going to round them all up and stick them into FEMA reeducation camps is garbage and the thoughts of a delusional mind. It comes from years of outright propaganda from the Main Stream Media, Universities and of late, the current administration in Washington. You’re going to be very disappointed when the round ups not only don’t occur, but instead you are generally ignored.
Now here’s one thing that may happen to a number of these new Proggie gun owners. They might find that they actually like to shoot. They may discover that yes, there are criminals out there who want to rob, beat, rape and murder you. What will probably surprise them is that the criminals really don’t care what your politics are, only that you have something they want and will kill you to get it. Now, you will join the millions of other Americans who have discovered that when seconds count, the police are on a coffee break.
