Making things easy for ICE agents

Good day all. Since Trump took office, the moonbats, progressives and liberals, (Yes, I know. Repeating myself again), have been screaming about “Sanctuary for Criminal Aliens. Now we have businesses claiming that they are “Sanctuary businesses.”

Yes, it’s true. There are actual businesses out there that are stating they will “Give sanctuary” to illegal aliens. It won’t surprise you one bit that this is happening in San Francisco. Here are the details of the latest bit of Lunacy from the Land that Time Can’t Forget, No matter how much it drinks, snorts or shoots up, from the San Francisco Chronicle:

Bay Area restaurant owners are joining the national debate about immigration policy.

President Donald Trump’s hard-line stance on the issue has sparked the Sanctuary Restaurants Movement, which launched in early January and now counts more than 240 restaurants across the country. The Bay Area is home to about two dozen participating restaurants, including Alfred’s Steakhouse in San Francisco, Cancun Sabor Mexicano in Berkeley and Flea Street in Menlo Park.

So how does this work? You hire known illegal aliens and you don’t bother with things like E-Verify, taxes or anything you would with American citizens and legal aliens?

Largely symbolic in nature, the collaboration is led by the Restaurant Opportunities Center United and promotes safe, tolerant spaces to restaurant workers, employers and consumers. While the sanctuary restaurant label doesn’t protect immigrants from law enforcement, the classification does spur business owners to educate themselves and their staff about how to handle federal officials during possible raids.

Well now, the correct way to deal with an ICE raid is to cooperate fully. Why is this? Because if you don’t, and they find you have illegal aliens working under the table, you’re going to be arrested, charged, and in all probability, convicted. Then the asset forfeitures begin and they take everything you have.

Nationally, the restaurant industry relies heavily on immigrant labor. Restaurants employed 2.3 million foreign-born workers, or more than 8 percent of the foreign-born workers in the country, according to 2015 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

And, as long as they are here legally, such as the former Mrs. Webmaster, then there is no problem whatsoever. More power to them and I hope they move up in society.

Mistry, a first-generation immigrant, was one of the first chefs in Oakland to register her business as a place with zero-tolerance policies toward racism, sexism and xenophobia. In her Telegraph Avenue restaurant is a sign that reads “Welcome all: shapes, sizes, colors, sexes, languages, cultures, beliefs, ages, preferences, statuses, faiths. You are home.”

As long as she obeyed all immigration laws, went through the process, and I hope, has become an American citizen, then fine. If she just hopped, skipped and jumped across the border and didn’t bother with things like the immigration process, then ship her ass out asap.

Oh, as to that “Statuses” bit on your sign? You better make sure all the people working for you are documented aliens or U.S. citizens or you’re going to find yourself in really deep doo doo. I won’t hold you responsible for your customers. Not your job to verify their status.

We were worried about the treatment of immigrants, and already a few weeks into the administration we see what’s happening. I have no doubt it could get worse,” said Amy Brown, co-owner of San Francisco’s Marla Bakery. Brown was one of San Francisco’s early registrants, along with chef Daniel Patterson, whose name is tied to seven different businesses on the sanctuary status list.

Here you see the typical Progressive Moonbat, (Yeah I know, shaddup about it already), attempts to confuse the issue. The Progressives like to lump illegal aliens in with lawful immigrants. There is a very big difference. Legal resident aliens have a green card. They have been granted permission to move to the United States of America, and enjoy almost all the rights and responsibilities of American citizens. Additionally, they can, provided they meet the requirements, apply for and become citizens of the United States.

Illegal aliens are criminals. They broke the law crossing the border without permission, they continue to break the law by remaining here, and many of them are using either false or stolen ID’s to hide themselves. In other words, they’re committing felonies.

Bicycle Banh Mi is a Vietnamese American, LGBTQ and women-owned small business near Levi’s Plaza in San Francisco. Owner Jess Nguyen said she registered the restaurant as a sanctuary on Jan. 29 because she is “fighting for progress in areas which Trump is targeting.”

Reading the news about Trump’s immigration policies and executive order was a big catalyst,” Nguyen said. “It hit close to home.

I thought about my parents, who escaped Vietnam for the chance of a better life here. I thought about the food and restaurant community, our shared kitchen and our staff members. We’ve all exchanged stories of what our families had to sacrifice in order to be be living in America.”

Your parents came here as refugees. They were granted permission to come in. Frankly, I’m of the opinion that we owed it to them after their homeland was taken over by the Communists, thanks to the antics of the early moonbats out there in the Land of La-La’s. We aren’t talking about those coming in legally.

And as to President Trump’s executive order temporarily halting visas from certain countries? The original judge, along with the 9th Circus basically assumed powers that they do not have under the Constitution of the United States. In point of fact, they outright ignored the laws that grant the president, whoever it might be, the right to do just what President Trump did. By the way, your hero, That Stuttering Clusterfu*k of a Miserable Failure, The Great Mistake, Der Fubar, Barack Obama, did exactly the same thing Trump was doing.

Co-founder Doug Hewitt said he was glad to see so many restaurants pushing for social change.

Restaurants, and in our case, cafes, occupy an important place in society,” Hewitt said. “They are one of the few places in which our public and personal lives merge together. We gather with business partners or friends. We dine with family or teammates. But all too often the workers are a backdrop to the food and beverage.”

Listen stupid, your political viewpoint was thoroughly rejected last November. In fact, your wet dream of Felonia von Pantsuit’s “Winning the popular vote” is now being looked into. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that upwards of 2 million illegal aliens and legal resident aliens registered to, and did vote. In case it’s slipped that empty space between your ears you call a mind, that is a felony and is punishable by serious prison time and permanent expulsion from the United States.

Oh, you think that doesn’t happen? Perhaps you should ask Rosa Maria Ortega. She’s on her way to a federal penitentiary, convicted of voter fraud. She’s was a legal resident alien, but decided she didn’t want to bother with pesky things like becoming a citizen so she could vote. Once she completes her prison sentence, she’s gone.

Finally, in case you think it’s a good idea to knowingly hire or otherwise protect an illegal alien, here’s the relevant statute:

8 U.S. Code § 1324 – Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

(A) Any person who—

(i) knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien;

(ii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law;

(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

(iv) encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or

(v)

(I) engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts, or

(II) aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts,

shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).

And what is the specified punishment in subparagraph (B)? Depending on what happens, the minimum is 5 years, and the maximum is death. So you Moonbats might want to consider what the new political environment is going to be these days. You have placed a very large bullseye on your businesses. You will be investigated, although I expect it will be very subtle, and if ICE has reason to believe you are harboring criminal aliens, they are going to raid you. If you have been harboring them, expect to be prosecuted. I have no doubt that a few examples will be made and if you aren’t careful, your “Political statement” could end up with you making little rocks out of big ones.

Knowing what my family and I had to go through to become Citizens here ( two years to getting allowed entry as refugees, then seven to ten years to becoming Citizens), letting the illegals AND the helpers of them should go through at least Ten years in a maximum prison and then deported as soon as they serve their sentences, and yes ALL of them. Those helpers should not be considered as Citizens any longer by their own actions. They loved the Illegals so much; they should now be in the same boat along with them.
