Good day all. I just saw this story pop up on Drudge and frankly, if this is accurate, then the German government needs to seek the removal of Chancellor Angela Merkel on grounds of insanity. It’s the only explanation for what she her latest remarks and plans.
What makes me question Merkel’s sanity is her remarks that Islam isn’t the cause of terrorism and that Europe needs to let even more Islamic terrorists refugees into the European Union. Here are the details from the Daily Star:
The embattled leader says Europe has an obligation to take displaced people from Syria and Iraq. She also said Islam “is not the cause of terrorism” and that combatting extremism needs the cooperation of Muslim countries.
Mrs Merkel has come under fire for taking in up to one million refugees amid security concerns and a string of migrant sex attacks across Germany. After the Berlin lorry attack at a Christmas market in December, ex-UKIP leader Nigel Farage said events such as that will be “Merkel’s legacy”.
From what little I’ve seen, there is a very good chance that Merkel will be shown the door in the next elections. However, I am NOT very well informed on the German political situation. However, Merkel’s refusal to face reality regarding the growing number of terrorist attacks, not to mention plain old fashioned crime being caused by these “refugees,” has moved, in my opinion, into outright delusion. I don’t know if there is a mechanism in the German system to remove a sitting chancellor if he, or she, has gone bonkers. If there is, then the German parliament should consider it.
Merkel’s policies have probably ended the European Union, and may lead to the outright collapse of Europe all together. I wonder if she’s bothered to read the novel Caliphate? Tom Kratman is looking more and more like the male reincarnation of Pythia.
