Good day all. Hot on the heels of one messed up week, we’ve got another Free Speech rally, this time in Boston, Massachusetts. Needless to say, this looks like a good day for me not to go to Bean Town.
Since the mess in Charlottesville last weekend that had one person killed and a number of other injured due to someone driving a car into the crowd, things have only gotten worse. The Proglodyte Left has been high diving into the shallow end all week, basically demanding that anyone who dares disagree with what they pronounce, should be banned, beaten, jailed and in some extremes, killed. On the other hand, you have a few whacked out types in the White Supremacist side of things who are fighting back against censorship. Confused yet? Join the crowd.
In Boston, all the groups are converging for another go around, and honestly, a lot of people are on edge. The location is perfect for the Antifa thugs, since they know that no one will be carrying a gun. (Massachusetts denies the constitutional right to keep and bear arms) If they do decide to put in an appearance, they generally won’t have to worry about getting shot. The city and state governments would rather just shut this down totally, and the Hell with the 1st Amendment. In any case, the city and state are getting ready. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
In the wake of Charlottesville, all eyes are turning to Boston, which is scheduled to hold a “Free Speech Rally” on Saturday afternoon.
Oh I like how Fox News put quote marks around Free Speech Rally. It give the impression that it isn’t about free speech at all. But then, Fox is starting to accelerate to she shark tank for a little jumping these days.
Just one week after the disastrous “Unite the Right” rally in Virginia that left one woman dead and dozens more injured – and just days after Boston’s Holocaust Memorial was smashed to pieces — the City of Boston and Police Commissioner William Evans were preparing for possible confrontations at the “Free Speech Rally,” organized by the Boston Free Speech Coalition.
The good news is they have a suspect in custody. The bad news is that I haven’t been able to find anything about who the suspect is, other then he is a 21 year old from Roxbury. I have a sneaking suspicion that the suspect may not be a Neo-Nazi scumbag, and may not even be Caucasian.
In other words, someone from the “Protected” class and a Barking Moonbat member of the Antifa or BLM movements. That is the only explanation I can come up with. If the suspect was a Neo-Nazi, White Supremacist or someone you would expect to do something like this, it would be broadcast nationwide 24/7. Meanwhile, the police have a lot to do today.
In order to keep the peace between conservative activists and leftist counter-protesters during a rally that could draw thousands of people to Boston Common, the city is deploying 500 police officers — some in uniform, others undercover, Williams said.
Will the police be ordered to stand down when the Antifa and Black Lives, (and no other), Matter thugs move to attack the speakers and listeners?
Although rally organizers stressed in a Facebook post that, “We are not associated with any alt-right or white supremacist groups. We are strictly about free speech,” opponents fear the event will turn into another white nationalist protest, especially as members of the Massachusetts Ku Klux Klan are planning to attend, the Boston Herald reported.
Those krazy klownish klods can hold their rally in a phone booth somewhere. There really aren’t that many of them and and frankly, they aren’t even worth the trouble to belittle. Of course, the main problem is that the Proglodytes really don’t care if the KKK, Neo-Nazi’s or White Supremacists even show up. Their goal is outright suppression of any speech they disagree with.
Boston’s Democratic mayor, Marty Walsh, and Massachusetts’ Republican governor, Charlie Baker, both warned that extremist unrest wouldn’t be tolerated in this city famed as a cradle of American liberty.
So, if the Proglodytes, Moonbats, Antifa and BLM thugs initiate violence, your you going to allow the Boston PD actually do their jobs and let them play Riki-Tiki-Tava on their heads with their nightsticks? Or are you going to hold back like the Charlottesville PD were apparently ordered to do?
In addition, harsh restrictions were set in place to obtain the permit for Saturday’s rally, including a ban against backpacks, sticks, and anything that could be used as a weapon.
Does that include the sign posts used by the “Counter-Demonstrators?” Or are you going to let those through since waving signs is a free speech issue?
John Medlar, an organizer of the rally, told the Herald he would “immediately denounce” anyone touting swastikas or doing a “Hitler salute,” and won’t let the free speech event be “hijacked by the KKK.”
That’s not going to stop the Mostly Stupid Media from claiming that this was a rally by the KKK and company. After all, the truth shall never get in the way of the Main Stream Media’s reporting of “The Truth!”
The rally will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Eastern time. Events are also scheduled in Atlanta and Dallas.
And it will be covered wall to wall on all news networks just hoping for a nice riot. If it’s started, as is usually the case, by the Progressive Left, you can rest assured that it will be blamed on the organizers of this event. It will be interesting to see just what the speakers have to say. If they stick to 1st Amendment issues, it’s going to blow a hole in the MSM’s talking points. You can bet they will focus completely on the one or two jerks spewing their garbage that the organizers simply don’t see. After all, the MSM can’t allow something like free speech to get in the way of their telling you what “The Truth” is.
