Good day all. Well, it’s finally happened. An elected Democrat is being told to resign her seat or be expelled from the state legislature. As you would expect, this Proglodyte is refusing.
This mess started last week in Missouri when Democrat State Senator, Maria Chappelle-Nadal announced that she wanted President Trump killed. This started the ball rolling with the demands that she resign. Here are the details from the Daily Caller:
Missouri Democratic State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal called for the assassination President Donald Trump last week in a Facebook post that stated: “I hope Trump is assassinated!” during an exchange with a left-wing activist who claimed a family relative was a Secret Service agent.
Well, if she actually does have a relative with the Secret Service, she’s probably just torched his or her career, right along with her own, unless the relative is the one who slaps the cuffs on her.
Missouri Lt. Gov. Mike Parson informed a state Democratic lawmaker who threatened President Trump’s life to resign by September 13 or the state Senate will move to expel her.
Parson, a former sheriff who also serves as the president of Missouri’s State Senate, pointed to a section of the Missouri Constitution that relates to penalties for lawmakers guilty of “contempt and disorderly conduct.”
Oh I think that just scratches the surface on just how much potential trouble this barking Moonbat is in. The last I heard, threatening the president of the United States, and calling for his assassination can ealiy be considered a threat, is a federal offence.
According to The Springfield News Leader, Parson stipulated that Chappelle-Nadal must resign by September, the date of the upcoming veto session, or deal with expulsion from the Senate.
It isn’t just the Lieutenant Governor calling on this moron to step down. Others in the state legislature, on both sides of the aisle are demanding her resignation.
Missouri Democratic and Republican lawmakers called for her to resign from her seat, including most recently Democratic Missouri Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver.
“I’m not going to do something that I haven’t heard many Republicans do on the air or in private. Anyone who labels anyone or any group of all races unless that is the purpose of the group, I disagree with it. A state senator here in Missouri called for the assassination of Donald Trump,” Cleaver said on Fox News Saturday.
“About 30 seconds after she made the comment, I issued a request for her resignation. She does not deserve to be an elected official in the state that I love–Missouri. She doesn’t deserve to anywhere in this country.”
Being a typical Progressive Liberal Democrat, this cow has no intention of resigning.
Despite the mounting pressure to step down, Chappelle-Nadal responded that she has no plans to resign from her seat.
I have a sneaking suspicion, that in the next week or two, Chappelle-Nadal will be given a choice. Resign or be prosecuted.
The Secret Service in St. Louis said they were looking into the issue, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
I hope they do recommend criminal prosecution. Putting a few of these idiots into a nice federal prison might encourage the rest of the Antifa, BLM and other thugs that there are lines you just do not cross. I expect that Chappelle-Nadal will not resign and will be booted out in the next month or so.
