Good day all. Do you remember Mittens Romney? He is the poster child for the Establishment Republican party. He has been bad mouthing President Trump since he was Candidate Trump in Early 2016.
He was also leading the charge after Donald Trump won the nomination to have it stripped in a floor fight at the Convention. Romney is a classic NeverTrumper. After Trump won the election, you would have thought that Mittens would take the hint and go spend more time with his family, far away from Cameras.
Being a dedicated NeverTrumper and a paid up shill for the Beltway Uniparty, (GOP(e) division), we all knew that was to much to hope for. This time, Mittens decided to fire up his 3 functioning brain cells and complain about President Trump’s blaming of both sides at the Charlottesville tragedy. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
President Trump “caused racists to rejoice” when he said both sides were to blame for the violence in Charlottesville, Va., former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said in a scathing statement on Friday.
Days after rebuking Trump for claiming that “many sides” were at fault for a rally that was organized by white supremacist groups, Romney went further in a statement on Facebook to say the president’s comments could lead to the “unraveling of our national fabric.”
“His apologists strain to explain that he didn’t mean what we heard. But what we heard is now the reality, and unless it is addressed by the president as such, with unprecedented candor and strength, there may commence an unraveling of our national fabric,” Romney wrote.
Mittens promptly doubles down on his insanity.
The former Massachusetts governor, who was once under consideration to be Trump’s secretary of state, blasted the president for jeopardizing U.S. relations with key allies and diminishing “America’s ability to help secure a peaceful and prosperous world” with his words.
“Who would want to come to the aid of a country they perceive as racist if the need were to arise, as it did after 9/11?” he wrote.
Mittens, of course, knows exactly what President Trump must do to placate the Uniparty and the GOP(e).
Trump “must take remedial action in the extreme” and apologize for his initial response to the events that transpired in Charlottesville, Romney said.
“Testify that there is no conceivable comparison or moral equivalency between the Nazis … and the counter-protesters who were outraged to see fools parading the Nazi flag, Nazi armband and Nazi salute,” he urged Trump.
Mittens, typical of the Elite, refuses to see just what Antifa and the BLM movements are. Yes, you had a bunch of white supremacists show up and a handful of Nazi wannabes. Yes, they are scum. However, they have the right to speak.
It wasn’t those scum that started the trouble, it was the Antifa thugs. They have been doing this for months, but apparently, Mittens and the morons of the GOP(e), (I’m looking at YOU Allahpundit), hate President Trump so much that they are willing to aid a terrorist organization in their goals.
Go away Mittens. Go away and never darken my monitor with your crooked, corrupt face again. (I can’t believe I actually voted for that walking turd in 2012.)
