Good day all. I was looking over the Drudge Report when I saw a link to something that surprised me. Showtime has bought the rights to a book by Bubba Horndog, aka William Jefferson “Bill” Clinton and is going to make a series out of it.
The book, titled The President is Missing, is a not a story about Bubba ditching his Secret Service detail and lurking at shopping malls picking up teenage girls. It’s actually a novel about a sitting president who goes missing. The book isn’t scheduled to be published until June, 2018. However, one of Bubba’s media suck ups has already bought the rights and is planning a new series on Showtime. Here are some of the details from Entertainment Weekly:
The former president and bestselling author James Patterson have selected Showtime to adapt their upcoming thriller, The President Is Missing. The novel, set to be published in 2018, tells the story of a sitting U.S. president’s mysterious disappearance with the level of detail that only someone who has held the highest office can know.
By that, does James Patterson mean the details that only Bubba Horndog would know, since he was the one going “Missing” so to speak? Will there be a subplot regarding cigars and blue dresses?
We’re told the project was hotly sought after by studios and networks, with Clinton and Patterson doing a 16-meeting tour around Hollywood trying to select the right outlet. CBS chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves — who has a long-standing relationship with both Clinton and Patterson (the latter an executive producer on the CBS drama Zoo) — personally helped make the deal.
I wonder if the “Project” would be as hotly pursued if it was just James Patterson’s name on the cover? We know that the Mostly Stupid Media drinks deeply from the Clinton Kool-Aid.
“Bringing The President Is Missing to Showtime is a coup of the highest order,” said Showtime president and CEO David Nevins. “The pairing of President Clinton with fiction’s most gripping storyteller promises a kinetic experience, one that the book world has salivated over for months and that now will dovetail perfectly into a politically relevant, character-based action series for our network.”
Yeah, I don’t think so. I do watch Patterson’s “Zoo”, but if it were canceled today, I wouldn’t miss it. I was actually surprised it’s lasted three seasons. (Season 3 just completed yesterday)
“I’m really enjoying writing this book and working with Jim,” Clinton said in a statement.
In other words, Patterson did all the work and you’re taking all the credit. How presidential of you.
“And I can’t wait to see Showtime bring the characters to life.”
And cash the Showtime royalty checks too.
“The White House is such an exciting world to explore and is made even more so with the unique insights of a former President,” said Patterson. “Rich storytelling opportunities for this series abound.”

Unique insights? Well, he was impeached by the House of representatives, disbarred for lying under oath, liked to chase interns around the Oval office and ask them to “Kiss it,” and help coin a new phrase for oral sex, the “Lewinsky.”
The article doesn’t say when the Showtime series will be filmed or debuted. If the book does as well as Felonia’s books, there is a good possibility the whole thing will be shelved. Personally, I have no interest in the book and I don’t see myself watching a series based on some president who got himself lost in the White House. Instead, I think I’ll plan on seeing the new move, “Kingsman, the Golden Circle.”

Saw that and decided that I’ve read my last book by Patterson. Plenty of other fiction writers that may not be in bed with those criminals and or leftists. A few have actually showed conservative leanings, but the majority just do the right thing and keep their politics out of public eye. No more Stephen King after his bash of our troops. No more Brad Thor after he got on the Never Trump bandwagon..
