Good day all. I hope your hangovers aren’t to severe. It’s time to ring in the new year and welcome 2018! Last year was a very interesting one, with the Progressive Elites refusing to acknowledge their crushing defeat at the polls, bit here, and to some extent, abroad.
On a personal note, I have found gainful, full time employment, and with a company I like doing a job I find interesting and challenging. Now there are a few other things both I and the Angry Systems Administrator have looked in to.
First, we have set up accounts with MeWe. MeWe is a relatively new Social Media site that isn’t unlike Facebook. One big difference with Facebook, is that MeWe doesn’t ban people for saying something that clod Zuckerberg and his minions dislike. Click on the link and set up an account, then as for an invite. It’s free as fine beers and ales should be.
Another Social communications site we started using is Gab.ai. They are like Twitter without the political correctness and censorship of people who don’t to the Progressive line. We won’t be giving up our old Faceplant and Twitter accounts, we’re just preparing for the day when the time comes to shove them into the dustbin of history, like the old Soviet Union…which the management seems to like…at least in the way they handle dissenting ideas. Currently, there aren’t any connectors in WordPress to push our updates to the new sites, so we have to handle that manually.
Both of these sites are new and don’t have a lot of people on them as yet, but they do appear to be growing as more and more people are either thrown off the other sites for “evilbadnogoodwrongthought” or just leave out of simple disgust at having their posts removed or hidden by some jerk in California. There’s also the interest by assorted governments in crushing them, just on general principles. This is mostly in the European Union, but some in congress are also looking at anti-trust issues. I won’t be holding my breath.
So, what are my plans for 2018? I’m going to be working to rebuild the Anger Central bank accounts. Now that I have gainful employment again, I can start looking at some needed spending that I’ve been delaying. Some of that may be new computer and telecommunications gear. There are also some needed repairs and renovations of the Anger Central Primary Dwelling that I’ve been putting off. I’m also working with the Angry Systems Administrator on the back end of the Blog and the main site. We don’t have a lot of time to make major overhauls, since we both have real world jobs and actual lives. Still, we’re always looking to make things better.
