Good day all. One of the major problems we have are perverts using the internet to find innocent children that they can molest. Far to many succeed in their quest. However, once in a while, the tables are turned.
This is what happened recently in Argentina. A father discovered a pervert who was targeting his 11 year old daughter and tracked him down. Here are the pleasing details from Fox News:
A father in Argentina took actions into his own hands after he pretended to be his 11-year-old daughter in order to locate and pummel the man who harassed the girl via a messaging app.
Walter Rodriguez said his daughter told him a 29-year-old man named German Acosta, who she met through WhatsApp, was sending inappropriate messages and demanding to meet her, El Pais reported.
Inappropriate doesn’t describe what this scumsucking bastard wanted.
The girl also said he was trying to convince her to lie to her parents and kept asking for pictures of her in undergarments. In one of the texts to Acosta, the pre-teen said she was a virgin, to which Acosta replied: “That’s great.”
At this point, the young lady’s father took over the conversation.
Rodriguez took control of the text conversations and posed as his daughter to arrange a meeting with Acosta.
“First he wanted to have the date at his house and I told him yes, of course, because I was going to kill him,” Rodriguez told TV channel TB. “He would open the door and I would kill him.”
Fortunately, (Not for the pig, but for the young lady), her father didn’t kill this sicko. He would have been, regretfully, charged with murder. Continuing the story, El Pais reports:
“First he wanted to have the date at his house and I told him yes, of course, because I was going to kill him. He would open the door and I would kill him,” Rodríguez told TV channel TB. But Acosta changed the meeting place to a street in the Villa Crespo neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
When Rodríguez saw Acosta, he punched him in the face and beat up him up before calling the police. He took a photo of the accused with a bloody face and shared the images on social networks. “This son of a bitch is a pervert. He sent photos to my 11-year-old daughter,” he wrote on Facebook. He also shared screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation.
Good! Mr. Rodriguez deserves the father of the year award. He did what any normal, healthy adult would do. He protected a child, in this case his own daughter, from a perverted piece of garbage. Unfortunately, he also broke the law in doing so.
Rodríguez and Acosta are now facing charges but have not been detained. Rodríguez is accused of battery and Acosta of online harassment and grooming – the crime of befriending a child to lure them to perform sexual acts. “I made my statement before Justice. I told them everything, how it happened, I showed them the screenshots, what he had been sending to my little girl,” Rodríguez explained. “I don’t understand why they let him go. A person like this doesn’t deserve to be free.”
I flat out do not know how the judicial system in Argentina works, so I can’t comment on why the authorities let the dirtbag out pending his trial. I think that when both cases go to trial, either Mr. Rodriguez will be acquitted, or at worst, receive a slap on the wrist.
As for the scumbag? If Argentine prisons are anything like ours, then Acosta is in for a world of hurt. Child molesters are the bottom of the barrel in the American “Prison pecking order” and not a few of them end up slipping in the shower…repeatedly. Since this would be an Argentine prison, where concern for a perverts civil rights won’t be a very high, (or any for that matter), priority, perhaps he will have a tragic and fatal accident.
