Good day all. If it’s a day ending in a “Y” and it’s in Portland, Oregon, then the fascist thugs from Antifa are assaulting anyone that dares disagree with them. Once again, a peaceful group that Antifa doesn’t like was speaking, and as usual, the “Anti-Fascist” fascists moved in to shut them down.
This forced the Portland Police to pull the parade permit for the group, the Patriot Prayer group and move in. Here are the details so far from KATU 2:
Portland Police declared an out-of-control protest in downtown Portland a riot Saturday, and ordered everyone to leave the area immediately. Authorities deployed flash bangs and tear gas as dueling protesters threw fireworks, eggs and other objects at each other.
Antifa is finding out that the days of people not defending themselves is coming to an end. However, they haven’t’ learned anything and won’t until a bunch of them get shot.
Police made several probable cause arrests at the riot and seized multiple weapons.
It doesn’t say anything about firearms. I suspect if a gun were confiscated, it would be all over the news. It was probably the “Weapons of choice” for the Antifa mob. Baseball bats, crowbars and 2×4’s.
The “Freedom and Courage” rally hosted by the right-wing Patriot Prayer group and its well-known leader, Joey Gibson, gathered at Terry Schrunk Plaza before taking to the streets. The group was granted a permit for the march, but police canceled it once violence ensued.
So the Fascist thugs from Antifa got what they wanted. Shutting down a group they don’t agree with.
A heavy presence of antifa (antifascist) protesters gathered in the area for a “Defend PDX: Patriot Prayer’s Violence Must End” rally. The protest, hosted by the Rose City Antifa, said “it is very important that antifascists keep up the pressure so that we can stop them once and for all,” in reference to the far-right Patriot Prayer group.
So much for Freedom of Speech and assembly from Antifa.
For hours, the two groups mostly yelled at each other, but once the Patriot Prayer members mobilized the situation quickly spiraled into violence.
This doesn’t provide a whole lot of information. What does this rather “Progressive” news organization mean when they say the Patriot Prayer members mobilized? Somehow, I don’t think it means what they think it means. Why? Because there aren’t dozens of Antifa members in the morgue.
A heavy law enforcement presence infiltrated downtown Portland Saturday due to past threats and acts of violence between the two groups. Department of Homeland Security officers were also present at the plaza, as Terry Schrunk is federal property.
You know, I wonder why these Antifa scum aren’t facing federal civil rights charges. It seems that they are always the ones who start something, and suppressing the right of free speech and assembly is definitely a civil rights violation.
After police ordered everyone out of the street Saturday, the Patriot Prayer group returned to Terry Schrunk Plaza, and the antifa group returned to Chapman Square. Police shut down Chapman Square and Lownsdale Square a short time later, and the Federal Protective Service eventually shut down Terry Schrunk Plaza — forcing the Patriot Prayer event to shutdown.
I really don’t blame the Police here. Thanks to the outright threats by Antifa, they didn’t have a choice but to shut everything down. What Antifa, and the Progressive CommuNazis are not understanding, is that eventually, things are going to come to a head. When that happens, the violence level will skyrocket. The people and groups that Antifa loves to beat on won’t put up with it any longer, and the guns they’ve probably been leaving at home will come out and they will be used. I really wouldn’t want to be a police officer in the area if that happens.
It’s time that someone wake up Sleepy Sessions and tell him it’s time to start looking into who is backing the Antifa movement and paying them. It’s very likely they will find that George Soros and the other rich totalitarian billionaires are behind it. Then the DoJ could actually move against them. Of course, as I just said, someone would need to wake up Sessions.
