Good day all. When President Trump and the Republicans in Congress passed the tax cuts and tax reform package, the CommuNazis began screaming “Tax Cuts for the RICH!!!” Of course, they didn’t actually read the bill, or they would have seen what really happened.
Instead of “Tax cuts for the rich!!” it slammed the very wealthy in states run by and controlled by the CommuNazi Party. The new tax law limited things like deductions for state income taxes and mortgage deductions. Most homeowners, such as myself, aren’t affected by the changes to the mortgage deduction. Those with McMansions worth millions? The lost their deductions on their multimillion dollar loans.

This caused the CommuNazis to scream bloody blue murder. While they claim to oppose tax cuts for the rich, what they actually oppose are tax cuts for everyone BUT their wealthy donors. That, along with the loss of the deduction on state income taxes started driving the “Rich” to move out of the high tax states such as New York and Kalifornistan. Now, instead of correcting their mistakes, the CommuNazis intend to sue and get a pet judge to force the repeal of the tax cuts. Here are some of the details from the Washington Times:
Several states followed through on pledges to sue over Congress’ $1.5 trillion tax cut law, saying in a long-shot lawsuit filed Tuesday that it infringes on their rights to set their own spending policies and unfairly singles them out for punishment.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court by the attorneys general of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Maryland, argues that a $10,000 limit on the amount of state and local taxes that residents can deduct from their federal returns exceeds Congress’ taxing authorities.
“The federal government is hellbent on using New York as a piggy bank to pay for corporate tax cuts, and I will not stand for it,” said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “We will fight back at every turn against President Trump and the federal government’s partisan assault to protect the people of New York.”
I see that, once again, that noted constitutional scholar, Andrew Cuomo, is demonstrating why he is considered a moron. I think he missed a little detail in the Constitution called the 16th amendment. Still, it should be amusing to see what excuse he’s going to use to screw over the rest of the country.
The lawsuit argues that the tax law violates the 10th Amendment governing states’ rights by infringing on their authority to make sovereign decisions on local investments, and that federal lawmakers have acknowledged that the cap was intended in part to force states to reduce their spending.
So, in other words, state such as New York have been forcing other, lower tax and generally more competently run states to subsidize their out of control budgets and taxes? Yeah, good luck with that one stupid.
The lawsuit also says the cap exceeds Congress’ constitutional authority to impose and collect taxes because it coerces states into lowering their taxes and then cutting services that the taxes support. The cap also disproportionately benefits other states and will harm the economies of the states, the lawsuit says.
The tax and regulatory policies of Moonbats like Cuomo have already done a massive amount of damage to their state’s economies. They just refuse to admit it.
The effects of the new cap on the state and local deduction are particularly pronounced in blue states such as New York and New Jersey, where higher state and local taxes translate to more lucrative write-offs when people tally their deductions during filing season.
“This Court should invalidate this unconstitutional assault on the States’ sovereign choices,” the lawsuit says.
Uh huh, so, what they want is a repeal of the Trump tax cuts and a return to the high level tax rates of the Obama Regime. Oh that will go over so well with all the people, which happens to be most people, who have been benefiting from the new tax law.

Brian Riedl, a senior fellow at the right-leaning Manhattan Institute, called the lawsuit a “public relations stunt” and a “joke.”
“There’s no constitutional mandate that rich New Yorkers get a federal tax cut when their state and local taxes rise, and that’s essentially what this is about,” he said.
I disagree. Under the “Living Constitution” that the CommuNazis worship, anything that benefits the CommuNazi Elite is constitutional.
“I would be utterly shocked if this proceeded,” he said. “I doubt they filed this lawsuit because they expected to win.”
If the CommuNazis do their usual judge shopping, and get one of the Obama Judges to hear the case, I have no doubt he or she would let it go forward. Considering that most of the Obama Judges think they should be running things, I would not be at all surprised if some idiot actually ruled in the favor of the Blue States and ordered the instant repeal of the new Tax law and restoration of the Obama tax rates.

Of course, if that were to actually happen, the Federal Law Enforcement agencies would probably end up investigation the assassination of a federal judge. Such a ruling would bring the economy to a screeching halt overnight and probably crash the stock market. Millions of people would suddenly lose the jobs they just got. Nope, I can’t see any judge being that suicidally stupid.
The Treasury Department has already warned states enacting workarounds to the $10,000 cap to tread carefully. It said forthcoming guidance will make clear that federal tax regulations — and not state interpretations — will dictate the rules of the road. Mr. Grewal said the lawsuit could be aimed at bolstering states’ policy arguments against the forthcoming guidance.
“They’re trying to prevent the IRS from acting aggressively, or what they believe to be aggressively, as opposed to actually trying to win a lawsuit,” he said.
A spokesman for Rep. Kevin Brady, Texas Republican and chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, pointed to Mr. Brady’s past comments expressing disappointment that some politicians are still trying to defend higher taxes.
“There are many mayors and governors who do a good job of balancing budgets and creating jobs in their communities without high taxes, and I encourage those few states that are trying to undermine our growing economy to instead focus on how they can lower their own taxes on their constituents and keep moving our economy forward,” Mr. Brady said in May.
The problem, Representative Brady, is that the CommuNazis believe that everything belongs to them. They have been drowning themselves in the Marxist Kool-Ade for so long that they can’t conceive of doing anything differently. They are still living in the shadow of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s failed New Deal policies and think that central control of all aspects of American life in the hands of an elite few is the way to go.

Actual honest studies of the New Deal are showing what an actual disaster it was. It didn’t save the nation or fix the economy after the 1929 Wall Street Crash, it actually extended the Great Depression. Other countries were starting to pull out of the Great Depression by the mid 30’s, but the New Deal United States actually slowed down their recoveries.
The only thing that saved the United States Economy was World War 2. What isn’t mentioned much in the histories of the New Deal, was the plan to put all the New Deal policies, temporarily suspended for the duration, back into place and in fact increase them. Instead of the massive economic boom the United States had, we would have gone right back to the mediocre economy we had been suffering throughout the 1930’s. FDR dropping dead was the best thing that could happen.
This case, once an honest judge gets a look at it, will no doubt be laughed out of court. The constitution is quite clear on this and the states don’t have a leg to stand on. The only reason they are trying this is blind panic. Instead of trying to fix the mess they’ve made, they want to continue raping the taxpayers of states that responsibly manage their tax policies.
The four states pushing this suit, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Maryland are in dire straits economically. Maryland has a Republican governor, (Of sorts), but all the other offices are controlled by the Moonbats. Connecticut has scraped the bottom of the tax barrel and literally can’t raise taxes any further. New Jersey is in worse shape than Kalifornistan. (Which reminds me. I wonder why Kalifornistan didn’t join in this suit?) These states are now being hit in the back of the head by reality and they don’t like it. It sucks to be them!
