Good day all with the Great Panicdemic of 2020 and the Riots of 2020, the Chinese Communist Party’s plans to crush the people of Hong Kong fell off the radar. However, the British government has decided to step up and do the right thing.
They have announced that they are going to extend visa rights to 3 million Hong Kong residents. Here are the details from Global News:
Britain is prepared to offer extended visa rights and a pathway to citizenship for almost three million Hong Kong residents in response to China’s push to impose national security legislation in the former British colony.
Now you may be wondering what made the British decide to do this? The reason, as I mentioned earlier, was the People’s Republic of China deciding to crush the independence of the people of Hong Kong.
China’s parliament has approved a decision to go forward with national security legislation for Hong Kong that democracy activists, diplomats and some in the business world fear will jeopardize its semi-autonomous status and its role as a global financial hub.
Oh I don’t think it will jeopardize the status of Hong Kong, it will end it outright.
Britain, the United States, Australia, Canada and the EU have all sharply criticized the move.
And I doubt most Americans, once they understand what the issues are, would have a problem bringing in a few hundred thousand Hong Kong residents. Chinese Immigrants have long been beneficial to America, even with the racism in the 19ths and 20th Century.
They still have a problem today with the Progressive Liberal Democrats that run the Universities in the United States who will refuse to admit them. Why? Chinese immigrants love education and generally are at the top of their class. In other words, they make white Progressive Liberals look bad. (Me? If they work to assimilate and want to become Americans, great!! Come on in! We’re having a bbq)
Foreign minister Dominic Raab said on Thursday that if Beijing went ahead, Britain would extend the rights of 350,000 ‘British National Overseas’ passport holders.
And that was a good start, but they decided it was better to just go all in.
On Friday the interior ministry said that this policy would apply to all BNOs currently in Hong Kong – a much larger group of around 2.9 million people according to British government figures.
“If China imposes this law, we will explore options to allow British Nationals Overseas to apply for leave to stay in the UK, including a path to citizenship,” Home Secretary Priti Patel said in a statement.
“We will continue to defend the rights and freedoms of the people of Hong Kong.”
Beijing says the new legislation, likely to come into force before September, will tackle secession, subversion, terrorism and foreign interference in the city.
Chinese authorities and Hong Kong’s government say the legislation poses no threat to the city’s autonomy and the interests of foreign investors will be preserved.
The Chinese Communist Party under Xi Jinping fully intends to crush the democracy movement in Hong Kong. I have little doubt that thousands of people are going to be disappeared into the Chinese labor camps and worked to death, or worse, harvested for their organs. Getting as many of them out, those who want to leave, is the right thing to do. Done correctly, they’re probably going to take all their assets out with them and invest them into their new countries.
I think that President Trump should look into legislation to allow increased immigration from Hong Kong. I think it will be very entertaining to see how the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis in the House of Representatives will react. (In absolute horror no doubt)
