Democrats: Stuck on stupid

Oh please let this be the Democrats “Cunning Plan.” ((Baldric Manservant of Edmond Blackadder)) Yes, please make the goal to put Nancy Pelosi back in the speaker’s chair.

In an article from The Hill’s Blog Briefing room, Michael O’Brien writes:

Dem campaign chief: Goal is to make Pelosi House Speaker again.

House Democrats’ goal is to make Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) the Speaker of the House again, their campaign chairman said Wednesday evening.

Rep. Steve Israel (N.Y.), the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), set his goal as nothing short of winning back control of the House in the 2012 elections.

“We’re all trying to win it back,” Israel said on MSNBC when asked if it was Democrats’ goal of winning back enough seats to make Pelosi, the former Speaker and new minority leader, the next Speaker.

Pelosi leadership has done marvelous things for the nation.

1. Brought the United States to the brink of bankruptcy
2. Rammed through  the most unpopular government program ((Obamacare)) in history.
3. Cost the Democrats control of the house with the loss of 63 seats.
4. Caused the Congress to have the lowest poll numbers in recorded history.
5. Demonstrated to all her and the Democrats utter and complete contempt for the Constitution, the taxpayers and the voters.

“Look, I’m focused on gaining 25 seats back so that we can regain the majority and continue to protect the middle class — not vote against the middle class, which is what the Republicans did just 20 minutes ago on the floor of the House,” Israel said, referencing one of the first House votes on Wednesday afternoon.

25 seats? Hey stupid! In case you didn’t notice, not only were you blown out of the House in the Great Smack down of 2010, you also lost  the majority of the state legislatures as well. Oh yeah, this is the year we redraw the congressional districts too.

If things continue to go down hill, and the Republicans can demonstrate they are trying to fix things, not only will the Democrats lose more seats, The Senate will go Republican and Obama will be sent back to his job as the Island Idiot in Hawaii.

Please, please make putting Nancy Pelosi back in the Speaker of the House chair the goal of the next election. It will make your utter humiliation even more amusing when you get blown out. 🙂
