Good day all. It’s only been a couple of weeks and Elon Musk, the largest shareholder in Twitter is happily driving the little twitlers insane with rage. To begin with, he is pushing to force Twitter to stop being a force for evil and let people speak their minds. Now he’s come up with a couple of other ideas that will really drive the nails home.
Recently, Musk posted a poll asking if the Twitter campus should be turned into a homeless shelter. Here are the amusing details from Fox Business News:
Elon Musk, Twitter Inc.’s largest shareholder, proposed turning the social media company’s San Francisco headquarters into a homeless shelter because “no one shows up anyway.”
Musk made the proposal via a Twitter poll on Saturday night. Nearly 1.2 million people had responded by Sunday morning, and 91.1% of them voted in favor of the idea.
Well, that will confuse the precious snowflakes who work at Twitter. Like pretty much all progressives, they’re very big on virtue signaling, except when it affects them personally. While most of the employees probably work from home, (Thanks to the Panicdemic), they still like to come in for any little freebies and bennies management might decide to pass out, like free lunches, and padded safe spaces with cute little therapy puppies.
Musk’s poll comes a week after he purchased a 9.2% stake in Twitter’s stock, making him the company’s largest shareholder. Musk has been critical of Twitter’s handling of free speech on the platform and has proposed a number of tongue-in-cheek changes to the company since his stock purchase.
He tweeted another poll Sunday morning on whether to remove the letter “W” from “Twitter.” The only available responses were “Yes” and “Of course.”
I would say that Elon Musk is having entirely to much fun tweaking the precious snowflakes who work at Twitter. Some might say he’s going to far. I’m not one of them. I don’t always agree that Elon Musk is the best thing since sliced bread, and don’t think the Tesla is the wave of the future. However, he is right about Twitter needing an enema.
Twitter has repeatedly censored conservative viewpoints in recent years. The company locked the conservative satire site The Babylon Bee out of its Twitter account for jokingly awarding Biden administration official Dr. Rachel Levine a “Man of the Year” award. Levine is a transgender woman.
Like all Progressive Liberal Precious Snowflakes, people working at Twitter have no sense of humor at all. As for Levine? He is genetically male and mentally ill.
Twitter also blocked the sharing of links to a New York Post article revealing the contents of a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden. While critics derided the story as Russian disinformation at the time, both the New York Times and Washington Post have since acknowledged that the story was accurate.
That may be what finally brings Big Tech down hard. There is more and more information coming out on how they worked to “fix” the 2020 election. At best, platforms like Twitter could be hit with massive fines after what they did is called “In kind Contributions” to the Biden Campaign. At worst? Felony charges.
Elon Musk is bringing a breath of fresh are to Crack smoke filled safe spaces of Twitter. As a director, he can only buy up to about 14.5% of the shares in the company. However, when his term is up, he can, if he doesn’t see any improvements, buy a majority stake in the company and impose freedom of speech on the twitlers. (I don’t know what the rules might be if he resigns his position on the board, if he could buy more than 14% then) Whatever happens, I think the next few years are going to be very entertaining at Twitter.
