Good day all. I am beginning to think that Twitter’s C-level management is regretting not letting Elon Musk walk away from buying Twitter. Each day he releases more information on just how hard Twitter worked to suppress any dissent of the Liberal Progressive world view.
Elon Musk is now planning to release all the information regarding Twitter’s “Trust & Safety” team’s suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, and he’s now saying that Twitter did interfere with the election. Here are some of the details from the Post Millennial:
Elon Musk confirmed on Wednesday, (November 30th) that Twitter has interfered with elections.
In response to a report from Reuters about Twitter’s move to free speech under Musk, he replied that “The obvious reality, as long-time users know, is that Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections. Twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent and even-handed.”
There follows a Twitter chain including Musk’s statement that the prior management directly interfered with the election.
Twitter not safer under Elon Musk, says former head of trust and safety http://reut.rs/3UofKvL
Twitter has shown itself to be not safe for the past 10 years and has lost users’ trust. The past team of “trust and safety” is a disgrace, so it doesn’t have any right to judge what is being done now. They had a chance, but they sold their souls to a corporation.
Exactly. The obvious reality, as long-time users know, is that Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections. Twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent and even-handed.
This is a stunning admission.
Yes it is, and I personally think it opens up the prior management team to a whole host of legal issues. I’m not a lawyer, (To which I get down on my knees often and give thanks), but at the very least there could be civil repercussions, and possibly criminal repercussions as well. Right off the bat, I think there may be violations regarding federal election laws and in kind contributions. I’ll let those with far more knowledge in legal matters comment below.
It was only a few days ago that Musk made the announcement that “The Twitter Files on free speech suppression soon to be published on Twitter itself. The public deserves to know what really happened…”
The Twitter Files on free speech suppression soon to be published on Twitter itself. The public deserves to know what really happened …
It has long been believed that Twitter interfered in the 2020 general presidential election in the US by suppressing and censoring the New York Post’s bombshell report on revelations of shady international business dealings and influence peddling gleaned from Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Those dealings may and probably do reach up and into the Oval Office. This was one of the reasons the old Twitter management actively suppressed any information on the laptop and it’s veracity.
Musk vowed to make public the internal conversations had at Twitter in 2020 regarding that censorship, which polling later showed did have an effect on the election, as voters said they may not have voted for Joe Biden had they known about the reports of influence peddling in the Biden family. This reporting has been verified by establishment media in recent weeks.
At the time, former FBI agents claimed that the reports were intentional misinformation, and later former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey had to apologize in front of Congress for the suppression of the accurate, verified reports.
And, as we now know, the FBI was lying through their teeth. That was just another aspect in the coup against the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. It didn’t hurt matters that the Twitter management was fully on board with the coup.
There have also been concerns that the big tech platform interfered with elections in African countries by suppressing and censoring information there. Bloomberg reported in 2020 that social media platforms were cracking down on election-related content in Guinea due to concerns that the existing government was using these platforms to spread misinformation.
That is not the job of the Social Media platforms. Their job is to provide a place where people can put out different points of view. Of course, when platforms like Twitter are run by people who make Mao, Stalin and Hitler look like great supporters of free speech and democracy, censoring any viewpoint that go against their views is to be expected.
Elon Musk has blown a massive hole in the world of Soviet Socialist Social Media. Here’s hoping he can turn things around and make Twitter what it should have been, a place where people can speak their minds, no matter how offensive. That is what Freedom of Speech is all about. Saying things that many, if not most people disagree with.
