How quickly things change…

Yesterday I posted about the Democrats cunning plan to save America by jacking people’s taxes through the roof and spending like there’s no tomorrow.

This morning news came out that Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell basically walked out of the talks on increasing the debt limit. It turns out that Obama and the Democrats were demanding massive tax increases and refusing to get serious about cutting the budget. (Except the defense budget of course) In fact it seems that Obama and his Marxist Minions actually pulled back from earlier agreements and doubled down on the class warfare crap.

Boehner and McConnell decided to do a Reagan at Reykjavik and walked out of the discussions.

From the Fox News article:

According to Boehner’s office, the White House was continuing to push too hard for tax hikes and was starting to backpedal on the call for entitlement reform after hearing complaints from congressional Democrats.

Frankly I’m amazed that McConnell and Boehner did this. These two have a history of “Go along to get along” with the democrats and aren’t trusted by the Tea Party or other conservatives.

The democrats are doing their usual “Look at the evil Republicans! They want to destroy the country!!” bovine droppings. Obama and Timothy Geithner are already saying they will have to default on the national debt unless Congress raises the ceiling on the debt. This, of course, is a typical liberal Democrat lie. The United States is still taking in over $2 Trillion dollars a year in taxes. This is more than enough to pay the interest on the debt, (Thereby avoiding a default) and also keeping critical services going.

Of course, Obama and Geithner along with most of the Liberal Democrats are out and out traitors and want the United States to fail. And for those few who don’t, they think that the whole debt thing is a phoney subject dreamed up by The Criminal Masterminds BUSH, the Koch brothers and the Evil Republicans to enslave everyone!

In other words, the Nancy Pelosi wing of the party.

Personally, I say don’t raise the debt ceiling. Make the scum in Washington do what everyone else in the world has to do. Live within their means. If Obama and Geithner do renounce the Debt and spark off a crises, then they need to be impeached from office and criminally charged. I don’t think we could get away with treason, but deliberate sabotage of the United States, and to a great extent, the global economy.

So, if you agree with me, call your representatives, (unless they’re Democrats or useless RINO’s) and tell them you don’t want the ceiling raised and that the United States should act like everyone else and live within their means.

That is all.
