Good day all, it’s the Angry Systems Administrator. As you may have read last week, the Angry Webmaster set up a google+ account as angrywebmaster1.
Well to the surprise of absolutely no one, Google has crippled it. We can get into it but we can’t post to it. All the other Google functions, such as gmail and Google docs appear to be working. We just can’t post anything to the “stream”.
At first, when the Angry Webmaster brought this to my attention I thought it was a typical Google Beta glitch. Imagine my none surprise when I read this on Slashdot:
Reports of Google+ deleting user accounts are all over, including Limor Fried — AKA Lady Ada / Adafruit Industries (recently featured in Wired Magazine) and former Google employee Kirrily ‘Skud’ Robert for violating Google’s identity ToS. Other users are finding themselves locked out of their accounts without an explanation of how they violated the ToS. The worst part for these individuals is that a lock-out of Google+ includes being locked out of all Google services, including email, calendar, and documents.
As you know if you’ve been following Anger Central over the years, we’ve had our run ins with the behemoth known as Google. The last time, Google accused us of click fraud with Adsense and not only canceled that account, they stole the money we had been accumulating for about a year.
Now, not wanting to risk our real accounts, considering our past history with Google, the Angry Webmaster actually used some common sense for a change and created a throwaway account.
Hmm…
I just went into the profile in order to pull the link for this posting and low and behold, what do I find?

If these scum think for one minute we’re providing them ANY of our personal ID, they have another thing coming. More than likely I’m going to talk with the Angry Webmaster and we’ll just blow away the entire account. It may be a few days before we decide and who knows? All the bad press Google is going to get over this might cause them to rethink their anonymity policy.
No, it won’t. The Google founders have a strong elitist totalitarian bent to them. Eventually they will cross the wrong people and find themselves being broken up ala Ma Bell.
I’m going to wait a while and see what happens. Considering Google doesn’t even follow their own policies, the account may find its self “Magically” reactivated.
That is all for now

***UPDATE***
The Angry Systems administrator was so angry about Google’s latest crap he neglected to do a news search. I’ve done one and I’m adding it to the posting.

So that’s why I couldn’t find you on Google+.
I don’t get on it much. The website only accepts so many people at once. When the quota is full, I cannot sign in.
When I am able to use Google+, I enjoy reading posts by Steve Pavlina. He is a personal development writer, and most of what he writes is motivational. That guy is awesome!
Back to subject, I am baffled at Google fanatics. Sure, their search engine is nice, but everything else they make is a knockoff of other companies services.
Nicely done. The complete and utter destruction of Google can’t come soon enough. They ARE evil in a Soviet sort of way.
