Good day all. President Trump, like everyone else in the United States, was flat out lied to by the former director of the National Institutes of Health, Anthony Fauci. Thanks to Fauci and others in the CDC as well as the World health Organization, the entire world economy was wrecked.
Early on in the Great Panicdemic of 2020, a group of scientists wrote and posted The Great Barrington Declaration. In this declaration, you had a large number of real experts questioning everything we were being told regarding Covid-19. One of the authors of the Declaration was Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. Since I, like probably 98% of the American population can’t pronounce his last name correctly, I’m going to refer to him as “Doctor Jay.”
Within days of the posting of the Declaration, the Deep State launched an all out assault on Dr. Jay and everyone associated with the Great Barrington Declaration. In short order, Dr. Jay and others found themselves canceled on Socialist Media and attacked by the Democrat Propaganda Corps. Thanks to Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, we now know that this was orchestrated by the Biden Maladministration.
Now that the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, is returning to the Oval Office, he has been staffing up his cabinet and all the various agencies. One of these is the NIH. President Trump has nominated Doctor Jay Bhattacharya to be the Director of the National Institutes of Health. Here are the details from Politico:
President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University physician and economist known for his controversial views during the Covid-19 pandemic, as director of the National Institutes of Health.
Bhattacharya, 56, has advocated for a major shakeup of the agency and accused former NIH leaders Francis Collins and Anthony Fauci of suppressing scientific debate and research during the pandemic.
“The rot, having accumulated over decades, was plain for all to see,” Bhattacharya wrote earlier this month on the British news and opinion site UnHerd, in an endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s pick for health and human services secretary.
The NIH doesn’t need a shake up. It needs to be burned to the ground, the ashes bulldozed and salt poured on the ground so a bureaucracy will never grow there again. I suspect that Dr. Jay and RFK Jr. are working on plans to do just that.
“Jay and RFK Jr. will restore the NIH to a Gold Standard of Medical Research as they examine the underlying causes of, and solutions to, America’s biggest Health challenges, including our Crisis of Chronic Illness and Disease,” Trump said in a statement announcing his choice.
In a post to X, Bhattacharya said he was “honored and humbled by President @realDonaldTrump’s nomination of me to be the next @NIH director.”
That Dr. Jay is able to post on TwitterX is due to Elon Musk. The previous management kicked him and anyone else who questioned the narratives off the platform.
Bhattacharya said he’d work to “reform American scientific institutions so that they are worthy of trust again and will deploy the fruits of excellent science to make America healthy again!,” echoing one of Kennedy’s themes. Kennedy called the Bhattacharya appointment “spectacular” in a post to X.
The first thing Dr. Jay needs to do is fire everyone in Management. Then start looking at the actual researchers and what they’re working on. I suspect a few of them will need to be shown the door as well and their projects shut down and incinerated. Why?
Bhattacharya was one of the main authors of the Great Barrington Declaration. The open letter, published in October 2020 and signed by thousands of public health scientists, argued against lockdown measures and in favor of a hands-off approach to the pandemic, relying on letting low-risk people build up herd immunity — a suggestion then-NIH Director Francis Collins called dangerous.
Collins, like Fauci, should be criminally investigated, and if the evidence warrants, indicted, tried and if the Jury agrees, convicted and jailed.
Bhattacharya is the latest in a series of contrarian health figures Trump has tapped for top health administration roles, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for HHS secretary and celebrity TV physician Mehmet Oz, better known as Dr. Oz, as administrator of CMS.
The “Health” Bureaucrats are starting to panic. They were able to con President Trump on Covid-19, but he’s spent the last four years, among other things, learning just how corrupt these public health agencies actually are. He is appointing people to basically tear down the whole rotten edifice and rebuild it from the ground up.
If Bhattacharya is confirmed by the Senate as NIH director, he would oversee the nearly $50 billion agency, which comprises 27 institutes and centers, and is the largest funder of biomedical research in the world.
$50 Billion dollars? I didn’t know that their budget was that large. I think I see another target for DOGE to look into. Right off the bat, I can see cutting any funding going to overseas bioweapons labs, which is just what Fauci and Collins were doing.
I can see the Democrats in the Senate trying to block Dr. Jay and RFK Jr. It isn’t going to work. People in this country are not just angry, they are enraged over what they were forced to live through. A lot of this crosses party lines. Confirming Dr. Jay and the others will not so much send a message to the healthcare industry, it will fire a hypersonic missile at them. Congratulations to Dr. Jay and President Trump on yet another excellent nomination.
