Good day all. Recently I posted a story regarding a Buffalo, New York SVU Detective who finally had enough with the Buffalo school system flat out covering up crimes against children. New York is, of course, a Democrat controlled state and the Educational system is controlled by Progressives, Liberals and Democrats. Now another state has decided to double down on protecting child predators.
Washington State is flat out controlled by Democrats who are to the left of Lenin. I’ve been watching Washington Gun Law on YouTube regarding Washington, and other Blue states, outright suppression of the Second Amendment. Now we can add another “Crime” to their portfolio. Protecting sexual predators in schools from parents. Here are the details from the Daily Fetched:
Washington Governor Bob Ferguson, a Democrat, signed House Bill 1296 into law on Tuesday, repealing 15 rights granted to parents of public school students. The repealed rights included notification about academic performance, medical care, school safety issues, and law enforcement matters involving their children. Critics say the new legislation removes or weakens many of these protections.
This is all part and parcel of the Democrats plans to destroy the traditional family. There is a list of things that the schools will no longer be required to report to parents. All of them are flat out wrong of course, but the one that should really set you off is this one.
The bill permits schools to delay notifying parents by up to two days if their child is the victim of a crime or sexual assault while on school property.
Parents, when they find out that some teacher has raped their daughter or that the school has done some sort of medical process, or any of the other incidents, will not be told for at least two days. If child or teen tells their parents that something happened, the school won’t speak to them, and any school employee who does talk to parents will be sanctioned.
The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has been granted expanded authority to enforce compliance, including the power to sanction school districts.
This load of crap was pushed through by the Democrats with not a single Republican supporting it. The Govno, who is, of course, a Democrat, happily signed it. To say the Republicans are furious is an understatement.
Rep. Travis Couture (R-Allyn) called HB 1296 “a slap in the face to democracy” and criticized Democrats for dismantling a law they had previously supported.
“We have seen a stunning amount of sexual misconduct and sexual assaults by educators in our schools just in the last year,” Couture said during floor debate.
Schools used to be a place parents could send their children knowing they would be safe and educated. That all ended some 20+ years ago. It was just very well hidden by the “Professional Educators,” The Teachers Unions and the Democrat Party. Unfortunately for the “Professional Educators” and others, the Great Panicdemic of 2020 blew the covers off what has really been happening.
As you should remember, the illegal lock-downs by the governments forced children to do remote schooling. What the Progressives never considered was that many of the parents were also at home and had a chance to see just what their children were being taught. To say that parents flipped out would be an understatement. I’ve already written about what happened so there is no need to go over it.
However one of the things that has been happening is is state legislatures, getting an earful, or in some cases, voted out of office, regarding the actions of the “Professional Educators.” They’ve been passing laws basically forcing schools to do what they should have been doing all along. This angered the Teachers unions and they told their Democrat Lapdogs to shut down the parents. Since Washington State is essentially under single party rule, this was the result.
Rep. Travis Couture (R-Allyn) offered an amendment that required immediate parental notification if a student was sexually abused at school, but it was voted down by the Democratic majority.
Democratic leaders defended HB 1296 by saying most of Initiative 2081’s provisions already existed in state policy.
In case that lying piece of smelly biological waste matter didn’t notice, this law just undid all those policies. As to what happens now, it looks like people are beginning to put together a referendum to undue this pedophiles whet dream. That won’t help children who have been victimized in place that they should be safe, the school system.
I haven’t been following the Greater Idaho issue lately, but I suspect that this is just going to give those pushing to get the eastern counties the ability to leave Washington State and join Idaho even more ammunition. I also won’t be at all surprised if an enraged parent who finds out that his or her, (Probably his), son or daughter was a victim of something in one of these schools decides to take action of a not very lawful nature.
This is what the modern Democrat party stands for and one of the reasons that the majority of voters reelected President Trump. They have had it with the Democrats. The problem is that in many to all of the blue cities and states, the Democrats have successfully rigged the system against the citizens. This is why many people are saying “That’s it, we’re leaving.” and places like Kalifornistan and New York are losing the most productive members. I assume the next election for state offices will be in 2026. Hopefully, the Republicans can pull their thumbs out and hammer the Democrats. Call them what they are. A group that supports child molesters and other criminals who prey on children.
