Good day all. Since President Trump was sworn into office for his second term, the Democrats, who hate America, Americans and the Constitution, have been obstructing President Trump’s nominees for assorted cabinet positions. President Trump has been trying to negotiate a deal with UpChuck Schumer to clear the backlog.

The problem, apparently, was that Schumer, as usual, was negotiating in bad faith. (How Democrat of him) Finally, President Trump decided he has had enough of Schumer’s games and flat out told him to Go To Hell. Here are the details from Fox News:
Hours of tense negotiations to strike a deal on President Donald Trump’s nominees blew up Saturday night, August 2nd, and now lawmakers are headed home. Senate Republicans and Democrats were quick to point the finger at one another for the deal’s demise, but it was ultimately Trump who nuked the talks.
It takes a lot for President Trump to give up and walk away from a deal. Basically, as far as I can tell, it’s either the two side being so far apart that it’s a waste of time, or one side acting in bad faith. One example would be Hamas. President Trump basically walked away from negotiations with them because they were lying through their teeth.
In a lengthy post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., of “demanding over One Billion Dollars in order to approve a small number of our highly qualified nominees.”

“This demand is egregious and unprecedented, and would be embarrassing to the Republican Party if it were accepted. It is political extortion, by any other name,” Trump said. “Tell Schumer, who is under tremendous political pressure from within his own party, the Radical Left Lunatics, to GO TO HELL!”
“Do not accept the offer,” he continued. “Go home and explain to your constituents what bad people the Democrats are, and what a great job the Republicans are doing, and have done, for our Country. Have a great RECESS and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
That sounds like UpChuck Schumer. He is a flat out scumbag and always has been. I’ve seen other stories that John Thune and the other Republicans have just about had it with the Democrats and might be looking at going nuclear on them with regard to all the nominations being blocked. I’m not sure what that would involve and the GOP needs to be very careful since anything they do can be done right back at them if/when the Democrats regain control of the Senate.

Of course, there is a lot of back and forth on who’s to blame. The Republicans blame the Democrats and the Democrats blame everyone else. What it boiled down to was cold, hard cash.
Senate Democrats wanted the White House to unfreeze billions in National Institute of Health and foreign aid funding, in addition to a future agreement that no more clawback packages would come from the White House.
And now the truth comes out. Since President Trump unleashed the Hounds of Doge on the bureaucracies, they’ve discovered billions of dollars in waste, fraud and slush funds for the Democrats. The Democrat Party is actually hurting for money, especially since their prime money laundering service, Act Blue, started falling apart. Then came the shutdown of USAID and billions more suddenly became inaccessible.
Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., accused Schumer of going “too far” by upping the price tag on his demands.
“We’ve had three different deals since last night,” he said. “And every time it’s been, every time it’s ‘I want more,’” Mullin said of Schumer’s demands.
Well that’s Schumer for you. He’s the Senate leader of the “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!” Party.
He said that Republicans weren’t caught off guard by Trump’s call to halt talks, and noted that the White House had been heavily involved in negotiations.
“You get to a realization that there was, it was never about making a deal,” he continued. “They want to go out and say the President’s being unrealistic, and because he can’t answer to his base to make a deal like we have in every other president in history.”
Yeah that isn’t going to work. Without question the Republicans going back to their states will be ready to answer questions. I’m sure they will also do something that the Democrats aren’t noted for. They’re bring receipts. I also suspect that they are going to lower the boom on the Democrats.
Now, Republicans won’t pursue recess appointments, but Mullin noted that moving ahead with a rule change to the confirmation process when lawmakers return in September was going to happen in response.
Schumer wouldn’t reveal the details of his demands, but charged that any changes to Senate rules would be a “huge mistake,” and urged Trump to work with Senate Democrats moving forward, particularly as Congress hurtles toward yet another deadline to fund the government in September.
“They should stop listening to him,” Schumer said. “If they want to do what’s good for the American people, they shouldn’t be in blind obeisance to Donald Trump.”

I don’t think Schumer really understands what is going on outside of NY and the Beltway. President Trump is doing what he said he would, and this is why the majority of people voted for him and not the drunken kackling hyena, Kamala Harris.
I don’t know what rule changes the GOP leadership has in mind, and as I said before, I want to be very careful considering the Democrats totalitarian desires. I will say that I put the blame on Charles Schumer. He has a long history of putting himself first, the Democrat Party second, and everyone else? They don’t matter at all to him. It’s people like Schumer who have fractured this country. I really hope he can be defeated in the 2026 midterms, or at the very least, so heavily damaged that the Democrats kick him to the curb.
