Good day all. I wrote this before things went absolutely bughouse nuts in Chicago. Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the Left have been insulting his memory and those who have been honoring his memory to one degree or another. Then we have the absolute dirtbag that is Ilhan Omar, (D-Somolia).

Ilhan Omar, who is an utterly corrupt racist and a communist, decided to flat basically say that Charlie Kirk deserved to be killed. When offered the chance to pull back, this bitch doubled and tripled down. This led to a call to have the House of Representatives censure her. As expected, the Democrats, who pretty much agree with her sentiments, voted against the censure. What caught people by surprise were the four Republicans who also voted against it, killing the whole thing. Here are the details from the New York Post:
The House of Representatives voted along bipartisan lines Wednesday to table a resolution to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) over comments about Charlie Kirk.
Four House Republicans voted with Democrats to table the legislation, effectively blocking it from receiving its own House-wide vote.

The four Republicans who voted to table the measure are Reps. Mike Flood of Nebraska, Tom McClintock of California, Jeff Hurd of Colorado and Cory Mills of Florida.
According to the New York Post article, Cory Mills was also facing a censure motion put out by the Democrats. This was dropped when he voted against the censure motion. That sounds like a bit of quid pro quo to me. As to the others? One who explained his reasoning was Tom McLintock, (RINO-CA)
McClintock told Fox News Digital that while he condemned Omar’s response to Kirk’s death, he voted against moving forward with the censure based on First Amendment grounds.
“Ilhan Omar’s comments regarding the assassination of Charlie Kirk are vile and contemptible. They deserve the harshest criticism of every man and woman of good will. But this disgusting and hateful speech is still speech and is protected by our First Amendment,” he said.
“Censure is formal punishment by the House and we have already gone too far down this road. Omar’s comments were not made in the House and even if they were, they broke no House rules. A free society depends on tolerating ALL speech — even hateful speech — confident that the best way to sort good from evil is to put the two side by side and trust the people to know the difference.”
No one is saying that Omar has no right to make a complete ass of herself. She does this on a regular basis. However, she is a sitting member of the House of Representatives and is supposed to represent everyone in her district. This includes people who are furious at what happened to Charlie Kirk. As a member of congress, she is expected to uphold the dignity of her office.
This, apparently is not something that is done in her native Somalia. Since she first took office, Omar has attacked anyone who supported Israel, opposed communism and dared question her immigration status. Ilhan Omar is a naturalized United States citizen, however, there are reports of certain irregularities in her immigration paperwork. Something about an incestuous marital relationship with her brother?

If this is actually the case, then Ilhan Omar was never a legal resident alien. Her naturalization would be invalid as would her election to the House of Representatives. Theoretically, she could be arrested and put on a plane to Mogadishu. Of course, that would all have to be investigated and proven in court. This all came about when Representative Nancy Mace, (R-SC), is moved to strip Omar of all her committee assignments as well as censure her. According to her office web site:
Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) has filed a resolution to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and strip her of all House committee assignments for her vile comments mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
“Ilhan Omar has shown us exactly who she is: someone who defends political violence and refuses to condemn the loss of innocent lives when it doesn’t suit her agenda, even the cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk,” said Congresswoman Mace. “If you mock a political assassination and celebrate murder, you don’t get to keep your committee seat, you get consequences.”
This is what the four RINO’s blocked. Now we need to get serious. Those four need to be invited to spend more time with their families next year. They are part of the “Well we must be collegial, and reach across the aisle to our honorable colleges.” Yeah, how about no? Those very same “colleagues” have done exactly the same thing to Republicans who did a lot less then Omar. All four need to be primaried, booted from office and shown the door.
In the meantime, perhaps someone can tell A.G. Bondi that the time has come to open a very quiet investigation into Ilhan Omar’s immigration and determine once and for all if she was legally in the United States and if her naturalization was valid. If it is, then so be it. If it isn’t? Get her the Hell out of the House of Representatives and the United States.
