Good day all. I just logged in and learned that Senator Lindsey Graham, (RINO-SC), had died suddenly. As you can tell from the title of this post, I was not a fan of that two faced useless RINO.

Obviously, I’m going to be retiring that image. Now the news on what happened only says that it was sudden and unexpected. This usually implies that it was either a massive heart attack or some sort of stroke or aneurysm. I’m sure we will find out soon enough.
The obituaries are already being posted of course, but as I write this, I haven’t seen any comments from the Democrats. I’m sure they will be forthcoming and will be in general crass, unintelligent and insulting. As for me? Yes, I intend to be crass and insulting, but will strive to be intelligent in my remarks on the late Senator.

Graham picked up the nickname Lindsey Grahamnesty when he worked with the Democrats and several other RINO’s to give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. (Thankfully, that failed) He was a Neocon warhawk, always ready to send in the military to intervene in things that were of no interest to the United States. He was a big supporter of sending everything short of nukes to the Ukraine. As for his military career? He was an Air Force Reserve JAG officer after a stint as a JAG officer in the South Carolina Air National Guard.
Graham was also a sycophant of John McCain, and pretty much did whatever McCain told him to do. He became a big fan of President Trump’s when he thought it would help him and would disappear when he thought associating with President Trump might affect him. President Trump was generally supportive of Graham, more than Graham was of him.
Now as to his replacement. Graham’s term was up this year and he had just won his primary. (Damn it!), now he will need to be replaced. I just checked the results from the South Carolina primary and the second place winner was Mark Lynch. (Graham won with 56.8%, Lynch was second with 28.9%. The others didn’t break single digits)
South Carolina’s governor appoints the replacement unless the vacancy occurs 100 days or less from the election. As of this post, it’s 114 days before the Midterm elections. I think it would make sense for the governor, Republican Mark McMaster, to appoint Lynch to fill out the Graham’s term and for Lynch to run in the General. From what little I’ve had time to find, it looks like Mr. Lynch will be a far more reliable supporter of the idea of Making America Great Again than Graham ever was.
Now this just leave the other missing Senator Mitch “Weekend at Bernie’s” McConnell. He been missing for a couple of weeks and the rumors are saying he is either dead and they are trying to cover it up, or he is brain dead and they are keeping him alive using machines. No one has actually seen him, although there are members of the Senate claiming they spoke with him. (Probably with a Ouija board)

To be perfectly honest, I don’t see Graham’s passing as any great loss to the Republican Party, the State of South Carolina or to the United States of America. Graham was part of the Deep State and was always willing to “Reach across the aisle” to the Democrats and give them whatever they wanted. That earned him another sobriquet, “Reach Around” Lindsey. As Ann Coulter once said, “Lindsey Graham was better suited to managing a fabric store.”
