Good day all. Since Comrade Mamdani sleazed his way into office as Mayor of New York City, he has been saying that if Prime Minister Netanyahu comes to New York, he will arrest him and send him to the ICC.
Obviously, this idea is stupid on stilts for a whole host of reasons. Two of those reasons are that the United States and Israel do not recognize the International Criminal Court. However, this hasn’t stopped the Mamdani from looking for any way possible to arrest Netanyahu and send him to the Hague. Here are the details from the New York Post:
Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he’s desperately seeking a legal loophole to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for alleged war crimes when he visits in NYC in September.
The Pro-Palestine, Israel-hating, socialist pol said in an interview published Saturday that it’s unclear whether he has the authority to order the NYPD to arrest Netanyahu during the prime minister’s expected trip to the Big Apple for the UN General Assembly – but is in an “active conversation” with the city’s Law Department about the matter.
“I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu belongs in The Hague,” Mamdani bluntly told The New York Times, referring to the United Nations’ International Court of Justice.
And I believe that Mamdani should be stripped of his citizenship and sent back to Uganda or wherever he came from. I think I have a better chance of getting what he wants than he does.
“He’s a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. And what you will find is that it is an opinion that is held by many purely because of what his actions have wrought over these last many years.”
The ICC has shown that it has no credibility, just like the UN. They have done nothing in regards to Hamas and their actions in the October 7th terrorist attack. In fact, they’re angry that Israel decided the time had come to take the gloves off and clean out Hamas once and for all.
Mamdani – who has made accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza a focal point of a far-left ideology that has helped propel him into the national spotlight – vowed during last year’s campaign that, if elected mayor, he’d have Netanyahu arrested if he ever set foot in NYC.
Which he can’t do for a number of reasons. First, Netanyahu has diplomatic immunity. Second, he has literally no legal authority at all to do so. Third, does he actually think the NYPD would make the attempt, because that is what it would be, an attempt, to arrest Prime Minister Netanyahu? While the political appointees might issue the order, the officers who would be expected to carry it out would rightfully refuse the order.
He cited the International Criminal Court’s 2024 arrest warrant for Netanyahu — which the U.S. doesn’t recognize.
That is a major problem for this stupid communist. Not only does the United States not recognize the ICC, we have flat out threatened them if they ever try to go after an American Citizen. Israel, while quiet, no doubt has plans in place if the ICC somehow got their hands on Netanyahu, and those plans may include terminating the judges and prosecutors while carrying out a rescue mission.
However, Mamdani insisted during The Times interview that the city “won’t be writing our own laws” to lock up the prime minister, who is seeking re-election.
Oh really? Funny, I seem to recall that the State Department landed on you for your plans to violate the Logan Act and meet with the Iranian UN ambassador while we are in the process of blowing that country back into the stone age.
“Whatever the law allows me to do in New York City, that’s what we will do,” he said.
That will be a first.
Netanyahu, however, remains unfazed by Mamdani’s threats. In a recent radio appearance, he accused Mamdani of supporting Hamas.
“I think he should look at who he’s condemning, who he’s praising. He’s condemning Israel, the one democracy that stands shoulder to shoulder with American values,” the prime minister said during an interview this week with Sid Rosenberg on 77 WABC.
“Who does he champion? Hamas, that calls openly to massacre every Jew on earth, that conducted that horrible massacre [on Oct. 7, 2023], the worst massacre on Jews since the Holocaust.”
He also said Mamdani “doesn’t care” that “those who hate the Jews and Israel ultimately hate America.”
“And in fact, I think secretly, he hates America,” the prime minister said.
Actually Prime Minister, it’s no secret at all. Mamdani does hate this country and everything it stands for. He wants to tear it apart and institute a communist state.
Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, fired back at the mayor on Saturday, slamming Mamdani for “failing to govern New York” by ignoring his mayoral responsibilities and instead “incit[ing] hostility and generat[ing] headlines by attacking the State of Israel.”
“And if anyone should be arrested, it is @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani,” he said in a post on X.
Someone needs to speak privately and very quietly to that communist idiot, Mamdani, and explain the facts of life to him. If, by some miracle, he were able to arrest Prime Minister Netanyahu and send him to the Hague, the best he could hope for would be arrest, trial and a long prison sentence before being deported. The worst case? Mossad sends him a pager.
