Postal worker goes POSTAL!

Greetings all, Angry Webmaster here with an interesting news story. An Alabama postal worker opened fire in a post office. Hmm, didn’t anyone point him at Angry.net? Really, one of the reasons we started this site way back when was the number of postal workers going violently nuts.

If you read the opening of our main web site, it ask, “Are you a disgruntled postal employee?” The idea was to have people vent their spleens here rather than climb up on a water tower or something and start shooting. Well, it seems that one Arthur Lee Darby Jr decided to not visit Anger Central and start shooting.

A 29-year-old postal employee was charged with two counts of attempted murder Friday after authorities said he used two guns to fire shots inside the main post office in Alabama’s capital city.

Two guns huh? Who did he think he was? Quick Draw McGraw?

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Clark Morris, said the man showed up for work in the mail sorting area and began firing shots about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses said a supervisor yelled that a man had a gun, and employees scurried outside.

Scurry? More like running away in a blind panic me thinks. So why sort of damage did this dumb ass do?

“The best news is that nobody was hurt and the local police responded quickly,” Postal Service spokesman Tony Robinson said Friday. “Management quickly had the building evacuated, which helped minimize the potential threat to the people.”

Well that is good news. Not only is this dried out pile of slug droppings stupid, he’s also a lousy shot. I guess this explains the two guns. He thought he would have a better chance of hitting something. Well he did manage to hit the building. This genius is being held on (Cue Doctor Evil) $ MILLION DOLLARS bail. Somehow I really doubt he’s going to come up with it. I hope he enjoys the next 25 years in Club Fed. They’re going to slam his butt so far back in to a federal “Pound me in the ass”prison cell they will need a month to truck the light in.

He really should have visited Anger Central. We do provide a service after all. (And not just venting either. We have a record of getting at least two women out of really bad, potentially dangerous situations. I’m really proud of that)
