Good day all, Angry Webmaster here. I wasn’t sure if I was going to write anything since Mrs. Webmaster got back home last night. However, there are a few odds and ends going on out there. Since President ScoaMF announced his campaign slogan, “Forward,” many people have been making sport of it as well as showing the true historical meaning of the slogan.
For instance, Jeffery Lord, writing for the American Spectator, wrote an article titled “Obama Steals Mao’s Slogan.”
Forward!
Comrades, you can’t make it up. Can you say “campaign blunder”? Or is it a blunder? Is it deliberate? The socialist mind at work in campaign mode? The Obama campaign has picked a portion of one of the most infamous socialist slogans of 20th century history to use as its own new campaign slogan.
I didn’t compare the slogan to Mao’s disastrous Great Leap Forward, (Which killed something like 40 million Chinese), when I wrote about the shear stupidity of the Dog Eater in Chief in selecting the word “Forward” for his slogan. Frankly I didn’t think of it.
Of course, Gov. Romney promptly and helpfully tossed the ScoaMF’s campaign a shovel so they could continue enlarging the whole they’ve dog for themselves. Here’s some choice phrases from Romney as covered by Yahoo News:
Mitt Romney Makes Fun of Obama Campaign Slogan During High-Dollar Fundraiser
Mitt Romney this evening, speaking to a group of high-dollar donors at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, poked fun at President Obama’s newly unveiled campaign slogan, “Forward,” remarking, “Forward, what, over the cliff?”
At first, Romney seemed to muddle the president’s campaign slogan, according to an Associated Press report from the event.
“His new slogan is: Progress. No, forward. Forward! That’s it! Progress would be better. I might use that one myself, actually,” said Romney.
I would reconsider that one Governor. Progress these days has the stench of “Progressive” surrounding it. Still, as a one liner, it should work.
One of the problems Obama has is his inability to run on his record. Actually, he’s running away from his record as fast as a dog would run away from him around dinner time. Even his minions in the Lame Stream Media are having problems with all the hype and blame coming out of this typically mismanaged campaign.
Right now, a lot of polls have Obama essentially even or slightly behind Mittens. This is not a good place to be this early in the campaign. With one disaster after another, Obama is living up to his very unflattering nickname of ScoaMF ((Stuttering Clusterfuck of a Miserable Failure)). By the time the conventions come along, it’s a pretty safe bet that things will be far worse and by the time the general election comes along in November, Obama should be circling the drain. Frankly, this is the Republicans election to lose. Still, we must remember that they aren’t called “The Party of Stupid” for nothing.
Remember in November!
