Democrat primaries, Anybody BUT Obama?

Good day all. As you may recall, I was not one of Mittens Obomny’s supporters during the Republican primary season. In fact I did a fair bit of trashing of him on this site. However, I really didn’t expect to see an “Anyone but Obama” campaign occurring during the Democrat primaries.

Since the SCoaMF is the current president, he is also the presumptive nominee for the Democrats. In both primaries, you generally see a small number of votes going to fringe candidates ((Ron Paul)) as well as people who manage to make it on the ballot but don’t do any campaigning. However, it is very rare for the incumbent president to have real opposition, the kind that either comes close to defeating him in a given primary or actually does defeat him. I believe the last time this happened was when Dead Ted, aka Fatboy, Kennedy ((Senator Edward Moore Kennedy kicks the bucket)) challenged Jimmah Cahtah for the nomination in 1980 ((Kennedy vs. Carter: The 1980 Battle for the Democratic Party’s Soul)), and that, along with Carters complete incompetence helped to defeat him and elect Ronald Reagan.

What’s happened in the last few weeks for Obama is far worse. He has come close to losing to people who have zero chance of winning the nomination, and in one case, almost lost to a convicted felon now serving time in prison! This is unheard of. For Obama to be in danger of losing a primary to a criminal demonstrates just how unhappy the voters in his own party have become with his incompetence.

Obama still has the hard corp left wing, welfare queens and the Liberal Progressive elites backing him. They will continue to do so as long as Obama keeps sending them government checks.

So what are the details and how close was it? First up is Keith Judd, ((Resident #11593-051, FCI Texarkana)) Mr. Judd secured his place on the West Virginia ballot and managed to win 41% of the vote even after it came out he was in prison.

The clowns running Obama’s campaign figured this was just a fluke. Since the SCoaMF is so dead set against coal, and West Virginia is coal country, they figured that it was just those “Gun toting, Bible clinging RAAAACISTS” venting their spleens before heading to the unemployment office.

Next up was Arkansas. Here we have a person, NOT a convicted felon sitting in prison, who challenged “The One.” This was John Wolf Jr., of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He managed to win 42% of the vote and may have picked up a few delegates for the Convention, if the Democrat elite allows him to keep them. Unlike the convict, Wolf is eligible for the office of President. Although he has no chance of winning the nomination, the Communist Party Apparatchik Democrat National Committee has stated they will strip Mr. Wolf of his delegates. Mr. Wolf has said he will sue. Popcorn is available in the lobby.

This brings us to Kentucky. To quote the Washington Post:

Kentucky’s vote was notable, though, for the fact that there weren’t even any other candidates on the ballot. The most the “uncommitted” option won so far this primary season was previously 21 percent in the North Carolina primary earlier this month. Kentucky looks as though it will double that number.

Now that has to hurt the egomaniac in chief’s overinflated self esteem. When “None of the above” comes close to cleaning your clock, you know you have a problem.

Obama has struggled the most this primary season in states in the South and Appalachia — which he was unlikely to win anyway in November — but he has also ceded big chunks of votes in swing states like North Carolina and New Hampshire.

Normally, when an incumbent and the party sees this type of reaction by the voters, the party starts looking for a graceful way to ease the incumbent out of the Oval Office. That is if the incumbent isn’t a self centered egotistical megalomaniac. The last time a president “Read the tea leaves” was Lyndon Johnson. He had his head handed to him in a couple of primaries and saw the writing on the wall. He stepped aside and Hubert Humphry went on to be crushed at the polls by that paragon of virtue, Richard Nixon.

Now I’m not equating Mittens with Nixon. Nixon was in a class all by himself. (Well, Obama may be applying for membership) However, if the Democrats should boot the SCoaMF at the convention, who would take his place?

Yeah, that would work. 😉
