And the latest victim of Chief Justice Roberts is…

Yours truly, the Angry Webmaster. Anger Central can’t afford corporate insurance, we’re way to small. So both the Angry Systems Administrator and I have personal high deductible plans with Health Savings Accounts.

I was notified that my premiums were going up. Since I don’t want to pay them and both Mrs. Webmaster and myself are basically healthy, I thought I would look into upping my deductible. When I called in and spoke to a representative of my insurance company, (After waiting on hold for 15 minutes), I talked with a gentleman of the southern persuasion and we looked into my option.

To put it bluntly, they suck mud from the bottom of a swamp.

It seems that my current plan is grandfathered in. This means I’m protected from the horrors of the SCoaMF’s plan to kill Americans move people into Obamacare. However, I can’t up my deductible and remain in my current plan. This means I wold lose my protections and according to the CS Rep, if Obamacare is allowed to go into effect, I will see my premium possibly triple.

To say I was a bit shocked was an understatement. I thought that President Unicorn Farts said my insurance rates were going to go down? Wouldn’t Obamacare protect everyone from those evil, corrupt insurance companies? (This is sarcasm in case you were wondering)

As I chatted with the Rep, he mentioned that a number of people were canceling their insurance. They were saying “Obama will take care of us!” He picked up on my feelings about those people from my voice. (Scorn with a large helping of dripping contempt) I think I may have said that these morons were doing us all a favor by cleaning out the gene pool.

Chief Justice Roberts has now screwed me over personally. (Well I thought he had in any case) We have to get this disaster stopped at any cost. Yes, that may mean voting for that blithering idiot Mittens Obomney, but it has to be done. Otherwise, we’re pretty much doomed. Nationally as well as physically.

Oh, the Customer Service rep recommended that I wait until after the election to see what happens. If Der Fubar wins, it makes more sense to stay with the plan I now have. If Mittens wins and the Communists socialists Nazi’s totalitarian statists Progressive Liberal Democrats get the hammering they so richly deserve, then call back and see if I can move to a new plan/rate without the worry of being bankrupted by the Obama/Roberts decision.
