Another musical interlude: United Airlines breaks guitars

I found this one on YouTube. I think the since the Artist has made it available it’s only fair we post it. It’s obvious he was rather angry about it and since this IS Anger Central.. 🙂

The short version is Dave Carroll was traveling with his band via United Airlines to Nebraska. Apparently they spotted the baggage handlers tossing their guitars rather carelessly into the hold. The result was Mr. Carroll’s guitar was broken.

He went through the process of making a claim and United basically said “Yep, we broke. Sucks to be you.”

So, Mr. Carroll decided to write a little tune about it. Enjoy. 🙂

We never heard of Dave Carroll, but we might give his work a bit more of a listen now.

UPDATE:

It seems that United Airlines is burning up the internet trying to reach Mr. Carroll. They would like to “Do Right” by Mr. Carroll and pay for the repair to his Guitar. Taylor Guitar has also offered to repair the instrument in question, (This was a Taylor Guitar).

Personally, we believe they should replace the guitar since repairing it will not really make it whole again.
