Nationalized Health Care

Or how to kill people without really trying.

The United States Congress, now controlled by a Marxist Democrat party, is working hard to destroy the finest medical system on Earth.

The American health care system does have a few problems, most notably the Trial lawyers. Doctors are forced to do tests that probably aren’t needed simply to protect themselves from voracious lawyers. Insurance companies have to answer to 50 separate state agencies, each with their own requirements. Each insurance company has its own forms that have to be filled out before they pay the doctors and hospitals, and those forms may also vary from state to state.

No wonder health care is so expensive. It’s choking on paperwork and greedy lawyers!

The Obama Administration along with the Democrat party think the best way to fix the problem is to nationalize the health care system. Then everyone will get the same level of health care. What they don’t mention is, that level will be slightly better then that provided by an African witch doctor.

In order to pay for it, the Democrats and the Obama Administration plan on taxing anything and everything they can. They also intend to institute a new board that will determine just what medicines and treatments will be allowed.

This sort of thing is already being used in Canada and Great Britain with lethal results. People will wait years for treatments they get in days in the United States.

If you think I am exaggerating, allow me to give you an example. When the Webmaster went to China a few years ago to marry his beloved Mrs. Webmaster, her father had passed away several months before.

Mrs. Webmaster’s uncle stood in for her father. Shortly afterwords, the happy couple returned to the United States to start their new life together. Of course, in order to comply with the laws of this great nation, the happy couple had to legally marry in the United States.

Shortly after their wedding, Mrs. Webmaster was informed that her uncle had passed away. The Webmaster asked what happened. Apparently Mrs. Webmasters Uncle had suffered a heart attack. This happened about a week before Mr. & Mrs. Webmaster were married in America. Her family didn’t tell her about it because they didn’t want to spoil the happiest day in her life. (Ok, she had 2 of those) 😉

The Webmaster found out the details a little later on. Mrs. Webmaster’s uncle had chest pains and went to the hospital. He sat around for 4 hours waiting to see a doctor. When he finally did, they gave him some aspirin and sent him home. 2 hours later he fell over and died.

Without a doubt, if this had happened in the U.S. Mrs. Webmaster’s uncle would probably be alive today. At the very least they would have performed tests of his heart to make sure that nothing was happening in there. If they had found something they would have started treatment immediately and worried about payment later.

Because this is a nation that has socialized medicine, it is rationed. Mrs. Webmaster’s uncle was well over 60 and they decided it wasn’t worth the trouble to take care of him. (He also wasn’t part of the ruling elite either, but this post isn’t about Chinese Politics)

If the Democrats manage to nationalize the health-care system in this country, you and your doctor, (If you are allowed to choose your doctor), will no longer have any say in what treatments you will receive. It will be decided by some bureaucrat who’s only job is to keep costs down. It won’t matter one bit to him if someone who could have been cured under the old system dies. His books will balance.

Think that won’t happen here? It already has. We quote from WorldNetDaily:

State officials have offered a lung cancer patient the option of having the Oregon Health Plan, set up in 1994 to ration health care, pay for an assisted suicide but not for the chemotherapy prescribed by her physician.

The story appears to be a happy ending for Barbara Wagner, who has been notified by a drug manufacturer that it will provide the expensive medication, estimated to cost $4,000 a month, for the first year and then allow her to apply for further treatment, according to a report in the Eugene Register-Guard.

But the word from the state was coverage for palliative care, which would include the state’s assisted suicide program, would be allowed but not coverage for the cancer treatment drugs.

So, under a state run health care program, you would be offered a suicide pill but not the drugs that you need to save your life. We would like to say this had a happy ending, but Ms. Wagner passed away. The state decided she wasn’t worth saving.

We have also heard nightmare stories regarding the Veterans Administration and military hospitals. Wounded soldiers are worked on and given the best care possible, (As they deserve), but both active duty & retired military personal who need care have to deal with bureaucrats not really interested in actually taking care of them. THis is a crime in and of its self as far as we’re concerned. Nothing is to good for those willing to fie to protect our worthless butts we say!

Now there is news that the plan to destroy the present health care system is running into a few slight problems. First, people are actually looking at what the morons in Washington are planning and ar recoiling in horror. The second is the massive costs and horrendous taxes that are going to be required to pay for this disaster.

Congress is about to go into recess. Now is the time to start hammering away at these power mad scum and let them know that we do NOT won’t our choices in health care taken away. Call, write and most of all visit your representatives and let them know you are opposed to this pile of rotting animal droppings called National Health Care.
